His mother worked with models, so it was natural that at age 12, Rob, who is about 6’1″ started doing a bit of modeling. At first he booked lots of jobs, which he credits with his youthful, feminine looks at the time. But as he started to look older and more masculine Rob stopped booking gigs. At age 15, his acting career got its start and in 2003 Robert got his big break when he landed the role of Cedric in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.”

Production on Robert Pattinson’s forthcoming movie “Remember Me” was thrown into chaos on Wednesday when firefighters rushed to the New York set to investigate a crumbling building.

The “Twilight” hunk is currently shooting the film in downtown Manhattan, but work was delayed when a crack in the wall of an old property nearby widened, setting off warning alarms placed to monitor the damage.

Five fire engines and a 20-strong crew of firefighters attended the scene to get the situation under control, and the disruption caused a number of problems for the film crew, which attempted to shoot around the commotion.

Robert Pattinson and Emily De Ravin were just spotted out to dinner together in the Curry Hill neighborhood of NYC. The rumored couple arived by cab and headed into a popular indian restaurant in the neighborhood.

The pair are both in NYC filming Remember Me and have caused the rumor mill to go crazy when they were spotted together last week after shooting wrapped up for the film.
