I’ve uploaded new high quality candids of Robert filming ‘Remember Me’ on June 18, 2009 in New York City.

Robert Pattinson looked handsome in his shirt and tie on his way to film Remember Me in NYC today after his dramatic morning. Rob was clipped by a taxi cab earlier in the day as he was trying to leave a bookstore amid the usual throng of eager fans. Luckily, he was okay and headed back to work just a few hours later — quite the trooper.

Only a couple of hours after the chaotic morning, Rob returns to work looking handsome as ever as he suits up for his next set filming Remember Me.

Robert Pattinson fans in New York getting way out of hand reports RadarOnline.

RadarOnline.com witnessed the Twilight star get clipped by a cab around noon in front of the Strand Bookstore on Broadway and 12th Street.

Summit reports Rob is fine, and that the incident was not caused by fans.

“Robert Pattinson is fine. The reports are exaggerated, and the accident was not caused by fans. Production continues.”

The Summit rep refused to say what did cause the cabbie accident, or whether or not additional precautions were being taken for Pattinson.

Depending on how you look at it, female attention is, or isn’t, a problem for Robert Pattinson who is reported to have partied with two beauties on Wednesday, June 17, one of which was Camilla Belle.

They were at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan drinking beer.

“One of the two women Rob was with was definitely Camilla Belle, one of his ‘rumored’ girlfriends,” a source tells Radar Online. “The other I only caught a quick glance of — and it could have been Emilie De Ravin but I can’t swear to it. She was blond and beautiful.”

Pattinson, 23, is currently in New York City on an eight week shooting schedule for the film Remember Me, directed by Allen Coulter.

Ah, summer: ‘Tis the season of Malibu beach houses, blockbusters in which at least one international landmark explodes, and skirts so short they almost don’t exist. It’s also traditionally when celebrities go completely off the rails. (Remember the summer of Nicole Richie’s DUI, Paris’s slammer time, and Lindsay’s coke pants? It was a veritable open bar of drama.) At least, that’s how it used to be; these days, all is quiet on the West Coast front. Too quiet. But far from thinking every star in Hollywood has forsaken mug shots for paparazzi photos of their bikini bodies, we actually fear this is the calm before the storm. We’re overdue for a tabloid train wreck, and we’ve got a short watch list of troubled Tinseltown souls we’re afraid might step up to the plate.

The Twilight Cast: Frankly, half of them could blow at any moment. Robert Pattinson wears a permanently frightened expression, possibly because a cabal of teen girls has taken up residence in the bushes in front of his house waiting for the right moment to propose; ditto Kristin Stewart, except those girls are more likely to try and shank her. Who wouldn’t crack under that pressure? We just hope new cast member and famed good girl Dakota Fanning is a calming and responsible presence, and that photos of her hitting the town with Stewart are innocuous. Because if she gets sucked into the vortex, we’re giving up and crying into a carton of Ben & Jerry’s.
