Because absolutely no license goes unturned these days, we’ve gotten word that there will, indeed, be a Twilight MMO.

Details are pretty sketchy right now on what exactly this whole experience will entail. It will be a virtual world where you get to play as either a human, vampire, or werewolf — that much is pretty known. The game will also be an open, non-linear world set around the town of Forks, Washington, that will let the player roam freely.

Of note is the functionality of the game’s journal, which is said to work not only like a novel, but also as a way to teleport back and forth through time to experience the events written inside of it.

Apparently, the fanggirls have a death wish.

According to Robert Pattinson, there’s not much to love about his Twilight saga character, Edward Cullen. In fact, the heartthrob thinks the vamp is more like a serial killer than a dreamboat.

“With virtually anyone, the nice guys always seem to finish last,” he told British OK! “You always get weirdos like Edward who seem to attract women for some reason. If Edward wasn’t a fictional character and you met him in reality, he is like one of those guys who would probably be an axe murderer or something.”

Yikes. Team Jacob is starting to sound better by the minute.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart made the most of their time together last week in San Diego.

The Twilight costars — and rumored lovers! — had spent most of the summer apart due to their various filming commitments.

Kristen has been in Los Angeles filming Joan Jett biopic The Runaways; Robert has been in New York filming indie drama Remember Me.

But the pair reunited at Comic-Con in San Diego Thursday.

The “Twilight” Panel was the hardest to get into at comic-con. I actually didn’t even get it!

Word started spreading on the dealer room floor that “Twilight” ruined comic-con!

People walked around with signs and much fun was made of “Twilight” fans.

At a convention as “out of this world” as comic-con, there is room for every type of fan.

The “Twilight” panel was enjoyed by all that attended.

I talked to several people, young and old, everyone was happy.

1. Summit Entertainment knows its audience, evidenced by the two scenes they brought to Comic-Con. Whether you’re Team Edward or Team Jacob, there was a shirtless scene for you. Who wanted to see the birthday party scene or the cliff diving scene, when they could get their first peek at Jacob Black hopping valiantly off a bike to strip naked to tend to an almost-drooling Bella? Or watch as Bella raced across Volterra in vain as Edward opened his shirt, stepping into the sunlight? It was such an amazing sight, Bella started running in slow motion. 2. Director Chris Weitz will use a lot of dialogue straight from the book. This was one of the biggest points of contention with the first Twilight, into which screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg had written quotes directly from Meyer’s text — with varying results. (“And so the lion fell in love with the lamb,” to which non-fans groaned inwardly.) In both scenes shown at Comic-Con, the majority of dialogue was taken from the pages of New Moon and filmed quite closely to what we imagined.

Hollywood Crush approves of that particular arrangement, especially considering it would create a de-facto “Can’t Hardly Wait” reunion between Hewitt and Peter Facinelli. MTV News’ Josh Horowitz did not bring up any future music plans with Hewitt, who hasn’t released an album since 2002 but whose brand of punchy pop would probably play well in today’s current climate (check out the woefully underrated single “Barenaked” for proof).

Examiner has posted an article regarding Rob’s new film, ‘Remember Me’ & some “New Moon” informations. In the meanwhile, Movieset has released the part 3 video for ‘New Moon’ world set tour on their website.

Our friends at Twilight Fanzone, a French Twilight fansite, have confirmed the fact that the French will not get to see The Twilight Saga: Eclipse any sooner than people in the United States will. While they will get to see The Twilight Saga: New Moon a little earlier, the same will not be true for Eclipse which, they say, will be released at the exact same moment.

However, Robert Pattinson’s other film, Remember Me, will be released a little earlier there.

Says Twilight Fanzone, “The release for Remember Me is confirmed to February 10th 2010.” This is two days before the U.S. release, “due to the French movie release on Wednesdays.”
