‘Twilight’ star Peter Facinelli confirms that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart do not Twitter

It’s been said again and again. The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart do not have Twitter accounts.

The source this time? Co-star Peter Facinelli.

Said he in a very recent tweet (from an official, confirmed account of his own), “Spoke to Rob and Kristen. THEY DO NOT HAVE TWITTER.”

Facinelli is currently with Pattinson and Stewart in Vancouver, British Columbia preparing for their work with incoming director David Slade in Eclipse.According to Facinelli, too, there are a number of other Twilight stars who are also not amongst the Tweeting. That list would include co-stars Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, and Jackson Rathbone (except for his band 100 Monkeys’ Twitter account).

Facinelli even went so far as to call out several accounts which are pretending to be the official ones for Pattinson and Stewart (namely, @rtp_ and @IAmKStewart), and stated “it’s not cool to mislead people.”

Indeed. In the words of Facinelli, “No more posers please!”
