How does Twilight and New Moon star Robert Pattinson keep that sexy, brooding look? Us Weekly Magazine has an item in their ‘Hot Stuff’ section this week that may shed some light on the sparkly on-screen vampire that so many girls love.

The magazine has this item: “This vampire likes to get pampered. A source tells Hot Stuff that Robert Pattinson, who’s in Vancouver filming Eclipse — the third movie in the Twilight saga — frequents the posh Vida Wellness Spa at Sutton Place Hotel.”

After months of speculation that Twilight star Robert Pattinson might star in director Peter Berg’s upcoming adaptation of Frank Herbert’s “Dune,” newbie gossip slangers Gossip Cop broke the scoop that Pattinson would be out of either the Dune role or his gig in Bel Ami, the sordid tale of a playboy adapted from Guy de Maupaussant’s novel. Naturally, Twi-hards rejoiced at the news that RPattz will keep the role in which he romances ladies left and right, rather than the one in which he puts his hand in a pain box and rides giant space sandworms. Will Dune fans agree?

Truth be told, Pattinson was never confirmed for the Dune cast but heavy speculation had him pegged to play the part of young Paul Atreides, the heir to a noble family in writer Herbert’s space opera. The character was previously played by Kyle MacLachlan in David Lynch’s 1984 film adaptation and by Alec Newman in the Sci-Fi Channel’s television miniseries Dune and Children of Dune. Berg’s version, according to Variety, is intended to be a tent pole-level event film and has potential to kick start an entirely new franchise.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had a sneaky romp in a shop changing room, it has been claimed.

The couple — who are currently in Vancouver, Canada, shooting the third Twilight movie, Eclipse — were apparently feeling “hot blooded” during an early September shopping spree at Black Market Village in Toronto.

“From the sounds that were coming out of the changing room, they were doing more than trying on shirts!” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“When they emerged minutes later they were mussed up and breathing heavily!”

Meanwhile, Rob and Kristen have apparently made no secret of their relationship while out and about in Vancouver.

“The whole cast comes in a lot together. For some reason, this is one of the places the paparazzi doesn’t constantly find them,” a hostess at an undisclosed restaurant recently told E! News‘ Awful Truth column.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart starrer Twilight:New Moon is ready to hit the theaters in November 20th this year. It is based on the novel of Twilight:New Moon by Stephenie Meyer and is the sequel to 2008′s Twilight, which is based on Meyer’s previous novel. The film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner,[3] reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively.

Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson who shot to fame portraying vampire Edward Cullen in ‘Twilight’, claims he is rarely given roles which test his acting abilities.

“Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do. Acting is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” Pattinson told Another Man magazine in an interview.

The 23-year-old actor admits that he is intimidated by his newfound celebdom, insisting he thought the film would be “something really small”.

Here is the interview where Robert’s co-star Charlie Bewley from ‘New Moon’ has to talk about Rob being ‘Papz Fugitive’ and how he felt sorry for Rob.

Last year’s Twilight grossed $383 million worldwide and set just as many hearts, mostly female, into hysterics with its story of forbidden human/vampire romance. The Saga’s trio of teen dream leads, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and especially Robert Pattinson, are suddenly, ridiculously famous, with their faces gracing tabloid covers on an almost weekly basis under headlines like “Rob Risks It All for Kristen.”

“Italy was a dream. Very surreal,” Bewley says. “I think everyone there, no matter who it was, Rob [Pattinson], Kristen [Stewart], [director] Chris [Weitz] or anyone else would say that it was an experience that they may never go through again. The hospitality of the whole thing, the way they treated us, the whole setting was so magnificent. “

“Rob, I feel sorry for him a little bit,” Bewley says. “I feel for him, because he’s like a paparazzi fugitive right now. He can’t leave his house. He’s the most photographed person in the world.”

Bewley says it’s hard for him to say whether the attention Pattinson receives might make it difficult for the fellow Brit to enjoy his success, but that he, “can’t imagine he would ever say he wishes it didn’t happen, but it is a ridiculous thing to happen to anyone. He’s gone from zero to hero in six months, and his life is just totally turned upside down. I don’t know. I didn’t really speak to him in depth that much about it. But me in that situation, I think I just enjoy the parts of life that he can’t do right now too much.”

Those parts of life include exercising (he’s a diligent runner and also snowboards and plays rugby), not watching TV, enjoying the ability to walk out his front door without being photographed and working on his career.

A nifty surprise arrived in my mailbox last night: the December 2009 issue of SciFi magazine with Rob Pattinson on the cover and a nifty “New Moon” article contained within! I especially loved Rob’s quote on page 49, “I also read Breaking Dawn, which helped me understand how Edward’s evolving and where he’s going. I look forward to making those films.” Yes, that’s “films” in the plural.

There has been enormous speculation over the past two days about which films Robert Pattinson will do and which he will not.

In a series of threads on IMDB, for example, fans wondered whether it was true that Pattinson had been recast or dropped out of the film “Bel Ami,” in which he plays an immoral man named George Duroy, based on the short story by Guy de Maupassant. While many thought that he was recast/bowed out because of scheduling issues, Gossip Cop can confirm that Pattinson is still slated to make that movie.
