“Is Rob Sick of Himself?” asks Star magazine in its latest stab at “news” from the “Eclipse” set.

The tab reports that Robert Pattinson “has grown so tired of his sex-symbol image that he’s taken to skewering himself!”

It’s well known that the man behind Edward Cullen has remained modest even as he rockets to superstardom. But Star takes rumors of self-deprecation even further. According to the rag’s “set insider,” Pattinson “stuck a picture of his face to a dartboard that was in his trailer.” The heartthrob then “took shots at it and asked everyone else to do the same.”

Whoa, that seems extreme – and exaggerated.

Sources tell Gossip Cop that Pattinson does NOT throw darts at his own picture. When asked about this rumored hobby of “skewering himself” in his trailer, one source replied that Pattinson has a great sense of humor and may have joked about it.

But taking this target practice story literally? It’s way, way off the mark.

New Moon star Michael Sheen has told of his admiration for co-star Robert Pattinson and said he doesn’t know how Rob copes with his level of fame. Michael, 40, makes his debut appearance in the second movie in the Twilight sage as vampire Aro.

Talking of his character, Michael said to MTV News: “I play Aro. For people who aren’t fans of the books, I play one of the Volturi – somebody described it as being like the royal family of vampires, which I guess is a good description. “He’s very calming on the surface, very gentle and soft on the surface.

But beneath, he is a psychopathic killer… He’s a great character, and I had a great time doing it.”

Getting put in a candle-lit room with Robert Pattinson is something that most girls would give their right arm for.

So it’s no surprise that Hayley Williams, frontwoman of the band Paramore, thought it was “totally cool” when she was introduced to the Twilight star in that way.

Hayley – whose band recorded two songs for the first Twilight movie – also admitted that her first meeting with the star, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the movies – was ever so slightly awkward.

Speaking to the BBC’s Newsbeat, she said: “I sat down with him and had a little candle-lit interview. It was really funny because they set it up as if we had known each other for years but we’d just met.

The ‘Twilight’ star is so sick of seeing his photograph in magazines and newspapers, he stuck an image on the wall of his trailer and invited his co-stars to throw darts at it.

A source on the set of ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ told the National Enquirer magazine: “Robert got a magazine cover with a picture of his face on it and pinned it to a dartboard that was in his trailer.
“He took shots at it and asked everyone else to do the same.”

Robert, 23, is finding his newfound fame increasingly difficult to cope with, and has confessed he came close to “losing it” earlier this year.

Today’s “Twilight” rumor has Robsten watchers on the edge of their seats.

Sites are picking up a sizzling In Touch magazine claim that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will “go public with their clandestine romance in a revealing interview” in this December’s edition of Harper’s Bazaar. “Insiders” tell the tabloid that the “tell-all interview” will confirm months of speculation that the co-stars are a real-life couple.

An employee for Harper’s who “accompanied the couple” to a photoshoot last month supposedly says, “Rob and Kristen were relatively open about their relationship.”

It would be easy for Twilight fans to assume that Twilight Saga star Robert Pattinson could get a big New Moon head over the Twilight attention and New Moon praise from the Twilight Saga. But, as new Twilight reports indicate, Robert Pattinson is so Twilight humble that the New Moon and Eclipse star doesn’t like to watch himself on screen.

According to Now Magazine, Twilight Saga actor Robert Pattinson feels uncomfortable watching himself on screen, recently Twilight revealing to The Guardian that when he watches his non Twilight Saga work, it feels self absorbing. Robert Pattinson was referring to his 2008 film Little Ashes, where he played the famous painter, Salvador Dali when he told the paper, “It’s like self-flagellation, so why would I bother?” Robert adds, “And I didn’t want to piss on anyone’s grave. It was hard to watch my first scene in which I turn up in this funny little hat.”
