“Twilight,” the vampire romance film released last year, was by any measure a hit: $191 million in gross ticket sales, three million sales of the DVD the day it arrived in stores, countless magazine covers graced by its brooding heartthrob, Robert Pattinson.

For the music industry, though, its soundtrack is practically a miracle. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the soundtrack has sold 2.2 million copies, a once-routine quantity that in an age of depressed sales has become tantalizingly rare. So like vampires drawn to the scent of blood, record labels, publishers and artist managers have spent much of the last year aggressively pursuing “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” the second in the series, which will open in theaters on Nov. 20.

Well, it happened!

Peter Facinelli, primed to pass a million Twitter followers today, got Robert Pattinson to guest Tweet on his account. These are the nineteen words that shook the Internet:

“Thanks a million. Here’s Rob … Hi, it’s Rob … My first and last tweet. My dad made me do it.”

From the “Eclipse” set, Peter Facinelli, through his rep, told Gossip Cop EXCLUSIVELY that Rob “relishes his privacy, but we’re hanging out and he wanted to say hi to the fans.”

They became overnight superstars after the success of the first Twilight movie, but Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson haven’t let it go to their heads.

“When you go from being a relative unknown to being a success overnight, you definitely grow in leaps and bounds,” says Rachelle LeFevre, who plays evil vampire Victoria in Twilight and the upcoming sequel New Moon. “The thing that was most striking for me was the way in which they didn’t change.”

Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner have both nominated as Kid favourites who’ve notched a spot for the title of Fave Movie Star, who’ll battle it out against the ever popular Zac Efron and Daniel Radcliffe.

Kids will be able to cast their votes for the 16 Kids’ Choice Award categories online from today (Sunday 20 September) at www.nickelodeon.com.au as well as through the Foxtel and Austar interactive Red Button application.

Voting closes on Sunday 1st November, and the winners will be announced at the 7th Annual Australian Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards at the Hisense Arena in Melbourne on Friday 13 November. The show will be broadcast as LIVE nationally from 7.00pm on Nickelodeon.

Robert Pattisnon is listed one of the PEOPLE’s 10 Best Dressed Celebrities. Congrats!

In the mens’ list, Brad Pitt, Robert Pattinson and Bradley Cooper all featured and the magazine said details like adding a scarf or skinny tie “took their looks beyond basic”.

Michael Sheen, star of The Damned United, Frost/Nixon and The Queen, has spoken to ITN about working with heartthrob Robert Pattinson. Sheen has filmed the much-anticipated sequel to the hit film Twilight, New Moon, and is awaiting the UK premiere.

He has a secret weapon up his sleeve for dealing with all the Robert Pattinson fans. He plans to have his ten-year-old daughter, Lily, with him to protect him from the hordes.

Not wanting to disclose too much, Sheen revealed that his character helps Robert Pattinson’s character, Edward, to make a particular decision in the film. His vampire family help to arbitrate the decision.

Jack Huston has said he doesn’t expect to receive the same crazy amount of attention his co-star Robert Pattinson (pictured) does.

Huston appears in the third movie in the Twilight series, Eclipse, and plays the part of Royce King II, a human who lived during the Great Depression and was engaged to Rosalie (Nikki Reed).

And the actor thinks that he won’t be hounded by fans in the same way as Pattison because his character is “kind of a nasty guy”.
He told E! News: “I don’t think I will (get the same attention) because of my part. I’m actually kind of a nasty guy. I’m her fiancé who ends up basically trying to rape her. It’s rather horrible.”
