“Twilight Saga: New Moon”: Pattinson bought the most expensive car
Posted on Nov 30, 2009 by Grace
Categories: Headlines & Rumors | 0 comment

Salary of star-boy from “Twilight Saga” are almost equal to the budget of several towns around Vancouver. As Canadian weekly issue “The Georgia streight” informs Pattinson has bought the car Shelby of 1979 year for more than $1,5 million.

The reason why the car is so expensive is that it is coloured with the best vampire pictures and its interior is unrecognizable. It has been unexpected even for Pattinson himself to see the car so modified. Within the steering wheel there is a ruby and the front panel is upholstered with the snake skin. The clock is made in vamp style. There is a badge of the bat of white gold on the back part of the car. But we name only a few…

It seems that “Twilight Saga” movie has brought Robert Pattinson so much money that he is not even able to waste it right.

Robert Pattinson Interview with MTV Radio
Posted on Nov 30, 2009 by Grace
Categories: Headlines & RumorsInterview | 0 comment

Robert Pattinson spoke with MTV Radio about his thoughts on director Chris Weitz, the hardest New Moon scene to shoot and the most romantic thing he’s ever done.

MTV: Tell us about working with Chris Weitz. What were your thoughts when you first received his now-famous “orientation guide”?

Robert Pattinson: When he gave that out, it was such [a surprise]; I mean, I’d never had that from any director. It was 40, 50 pages long, this thing. And this is in addition to a bunch of letters and e-mails and everything [he had sent the cast], trying to show that he’s on the same page as us and he’s completely with us in making the film. And he didn’t falter from that attitude throughout the whole movie. It probably sounds ridiculous how much praise this guy gets. I was just with his wife and him in Japan, and she was even sick of it! But he is like a saint. He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met, let alone directors. I think in a lot of ways that shows in the movie — it’s got a lot of heart.

Robert Pattinson Greek Magazine Scans & Interview
Posted on Nov 29, 2009 by Grace
Categories: Gallery UpdatesInterviewScans | 0 comment

I’ve added some new scans & interview of Robert featured on a Greek Magazine, Eikonez. Thanks to ThinkingofRob and Paranolia for both scans and translation!

This era’s icon

What is it that makes millions of girls scream at every appearance of 23 year old Robert Pattinson? It is a reasonable male question, isn’t it?

In Harry Potter he went almost unnoticed. His potential to become an idol started showing with his lead role in “Twilight”. The second movie of the series, “New Moon”, has just come out making the biggest opening of all time with $72.7 million the first week end worldwide, and a 300,000 tickets opening week end in Greece.

The fascination associated with Pattinson now is many times bigger than the one associated with DiCaprio after the “Titanic”. So, there rises the inevitable question: What kind of icons are the ones needed in these times?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are still down-to-earth, regular people despite their international superstardom, according to a New Moon co-star.

The pair shot to fame as onscreen lovers in the Twilight franchise, and are reportedly dating in real life.

And even though they have become fantasy fodder for teens all over the globe, actress Justine Wachsberger reveals they are both still shy and unassuming.

‘New Moon’ costume designer Tish Monaghan on Edward’s suit and Jacob’s cut-offs
Posted on Nov 28, 2009 by Grace
Categories: Headlines & Rumors | 0 comment

You have to immediately like a costume designer who’ll admit that she’s wearing sweatpants while chatting with you from her Vancouver home. We phoned Tish Monaghan, who took over styling duties for The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Eclipse, to talk about how Edward ended up in a suit, why Jacob’s muscles are bulging through his shirt (when he actually wears one), what department mandated that the wolf pack’s jean shorts be extra tight, and more.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Anyone who’s listened to the Twilight DVD commentary knows that Robert Pattinson wasn’t a fan of Edward’s pea coat.

TISH MONAGHAN: He wasn’t a fan of the pea coat. He wore it in virtually every scene, and I think maybe he just got tired of it. I’m guessing. [Laughs] He just wanted a more mature look. That was part of Edward’s Grade 11 year, and now he’s getting into his graduation year, he’s in a relationship. He had worn hoodies and jeans and sneakers, and Robert, the director [Chris Weitz], and I all wanted to portray him more as a gentleman, more elegant and classic. With our vampire characters, I always went back to the time period in which they were turned to see if there’s any element I could try to simulate in contemporary clothing. He came out of the Edwardian period, around 1910. Of course, most of the gentleman from that time would be wearing suits, coats, hats, etc. We had to pick something that was iconic for the character that would suffice to be used throughout the whole film. At the very beginning of the film, he has one school outfit, and then there’s Bella’s birthday party and disaster strikes. So Edward ends up in that same costume for the remainder of the film. I was thinking of just putting him in a dress shirt and a pair of pants, but Robert wanted to be in a suit.

The Devin’s Advocate: Why Breaking Dawn Must Be Made Into A Movie
Posted on Nov 28, 2009 by Grace
Categories: 'Breaking Dawn'Headlines & Rumors | 5 comments

With New Moon likely to make yet another metric fuckload of money this weekend we need to find the bright side to the entire Twilight mania. There must be something good that comes from this awful Mormon fantasy that seems to have invaded our culture on every front. That something is the eventual movie version of Breaking Dawn.

Even though New Moon has made a bazillion dollars and even though the third Twilight book, Eclipse, is already filming, Summit has declined to announce the fourth and final Twilight book as a movie. There’s a good reason for this: Breaking Dawn is completely fucking insane, and it is probably totally unfilmable. But if they do film it… man, we are in for a treat.

Robert Pattinson Italy Panarama Magazine Interview & Scans
Posted on Nov 27, 2009 by Grace
Categories: Gallery UpdatesInterviewScans | 0 comment

I’ve added scans and updated translated interview from the pages of Robert featured in the current issue of Italian Magazine, Panorama, Decmeber 3 issue. Thanks to Mayfrayn for both scans and translated interview!

EVERY WOMAN WANTS ME……BUT I’M SO BORED.

“I’m literally felt into my film career”. Robert Psttinson, actor of the Twilight Saga, is made object of a general frenzy without precedents. Kid oppressed by his sister ( “she dressed me as a girl and called me Claudia”), actor thanks to his father that “wanted to wake me up from my shyness”, today he earns 10 millions $ for movie, he is compared to Marlon Brando and he has two dreams: to record a disc and do not remain a vampire forever.

By Marco Giovannini – Los Angeles

Your character, vampire Edward Cullen, is 109 years old. You just has your 23rd birthday. What do you want to do in the next 86 years?

Robert Pattinson makes a good laugh, and this is a scoop, because in the first two movies of the Twilight Saga, gorgeous, pale and tortured, he practically never laughs.

“I know what I’ll do in the next two years, more or less, because I signed some contracts, but I’m not used to plan anything. I reason with my balls ( in England we call it instinct, in a poetic way), not with my brain. I’m slave of my subconscious”.

Chat: with Robert Pattinson
Posted on Nov 27, 2009 by Grace
Categories: Headlines & RumorsInterview | 2 comments

Far easier for him to stay in his hotel room, cocooned in five-star luxury, with a cellphone that has run out of charge, safe at least from the girls chanting his name outside.

Robert Pattinson, 23, from Barnes in southwest London, ought still to be one of Hollywood’s beautiful dreamers, moving up the ranks of movie acting, enjoying his American adventure, his guitar, his good looks. Instead he lives in danger of being trampled in a stampede of teen love. He plays the vampire Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga, the biggest books-to-screen phenomenon since Harry Potter – in which, by the way, Pattinson was Cedric Diggory, heroic golden boy and victim of Voldemort. Boy, his life has changed since Hogwarts.
