Robert Pattinson says fame is still a novelty.

The Twilight star, who was speaking at a press conference today in London ahead of the release of New Moon, says he’s not worried about his level of fame – yet.

He told Ok.co.uk: “I was kind of trapped while filming Eclipse, but there’s always ways and there’s always places where you can disappear to.

“It just involves a bit more thought and you can’t wander around willy-nilly.

“It’s still a novelty to me.

“If I’m still stuck in a hotel room in 10 years time and I haven’t figured out another way to deal with it, then I would be annoyed.”

The 23-year-old says he doesn’t let his celebrity status get him down and tries not to focus on it.

He added: “I don’t really think about it. I just want to see what it’s really like in two to three years.”
