Archive for November, 2009« Reason Why Robert Pattinson Smells Bad Revealed | Miley Cyrus: Zac Efron’s hotter than Rob Pattinson »Robert Pattinson works magic on Amy Winehouse Troubled pop singer Amy Winehouse may want to avoid rehab, but she has no trouble cavorting with the undead. The British chanteuse, whose battles with booze, drugs and on-again-off-again hubby Balke Fielder-Civil have provided torrid tales for tabloid drool, is apparently a Twi-hard of extreme degree. Not only is she a constant fan of sultry Twilight vampire Robert Pattinson, she even plans to ring in the New Year with a blood-stained bash. Winehouse is especially intrigued by the sexual powers exuded by the vampire clan, reports say. • Read full story » Reason Why Robert Pattinson Smells Bad Revealed Finally, an answer to the age-old question why Robert Pattinson smells. According to his “New Moon” co-star, Peter Facinelli, the heartthrob deliberately wants to smell to ward off the paparazzi. Facinelli, who plays Pattinson’s adoptive father in the film, explains to New York Magazine why the 23-year-old star sports a body odor. He said that he advised his screen son to not change his clothes. That way, when the paparazzi get his pictures in the same outfit all the time, then they won’t be able to sell the pictures because it will look like they were from the same batch. • Read full story » Robert Pattinson Talks Romance Robert Pattinson has confessed that he isn’t a very romantic person in news bound to upset Twi-hards. Talking to MTV stateside he said: “I haven’t done that many romantic things in my life … I like the romantic scenes. I felt like a lot of the story line in “New Moon” is very heartbreaking and true. “And I didn’t think I was doing something just for the sake of romance. In a lot of ways, it’s a very sad story.” Asked if he’d ever serenaded a lady R Patz revealed: “Oh no [laughs]. I don’t think that would ever be romantic. You have to have so much balls to do that. “I actually can’t think of the most romantic thing I’ve ever done. I put a flower in someone’s locker when I was 15 years old, this girl Maria. Maybe I was 14. Anyway, she thought it was somebody else. And the other guy claimed it [was him], which was great.” • Read full story » ‘New Moon’ on Singapore’s The Newpaper, FiRST Newspaper Cover I’ve added new newspaper scans of ‘New Moon’ featured on Singapore’s The Newpaper, FiRST November 26 issue. 5 Facts about Eclipse The Twilight Saga: New Moon has been in cinemas for almost a week. So, depending on your feelings towards sparkly vampires and extremely buff werewolves, you will either have seen it three times already (ZOMG RPattz!) or avoided it altogether. Either way, the fandemonium has subsided enough for us to look to the future. It’s just seven months until Eclipse, the third instalment of Stephenie Meyer’s popular book series, hits the big screen. RT caught up with the cast in LA’s Four Seasons hotel during their manic New Moon press tour to get the latest on the eagerly anticipated film. We learned that Robert Pattinson hates pranks, that Nikki Reed loves werewolves and that we may just see a fifth film. Read on to find out more… Fact #1: It’s Darker The brand new poster for Eclipse (above) hints at a darker tone with its brooding storm clouds. With 30 Days of Night director David Slade at the helm, it’s unsurprising. “Every movie is different because we work with a different director on each one, which I love,” Taylor Lautner tells RT. “David Slade is perfect for the third film because it’s darker. Eclipse was my favourite book.” Ashley Greene, who plays vampire Alice, tells RT that Slade isn’t just a prince of darkness. “David is actually hysterical,” she laughs, “He has such a dry sense of humour that sometimes you don’t know if he’s kidding or not. Eclipse will be amazing because he has made it far edgier and more dramatic. It’s going to look very cool.” • Read full story » Robert Pattinson InStyle Germany Interview “Twilight“ star and super hottie Robert Pattinson tells us, what kind of women fascinate him and why they can be afraid of him. About a year ago, no one knew Robert Pattinson. The Brits kept there hottest …. since Jude Law – except a small part in Harry Potter – well hidden. But since his success as vampire Edward in Twilight he became one of the most desired men on the planet. And that could even increase with the start of the second part of the Twilight Saga (New Moon, release date November 26th) Robert Pattinson comes to the interview in black jeans and a black button-down – just like you imagine a vampire. A bit of chest hair can be seen in the neckline. Every now and then our talk is interrupted by screaming fans that are waiting in front of the „Beach Club“ in Cannes. „If girls are afraid of me? I hope so! When you don’t have something dangerous, animalistic as a man you aren’t a real man, aren’t you? The 23 year old tries to stay as relaxed as possible in this tense atmosphere and grins apologetically, as if to say: Really not my fault. But it is. Because even as a man you have to ungrudgingly admit: Robert Pattinson just looks illegally good. • Read full story » The Hollywood Reporter Interviews Robert Pattinson Here’s a new interview video of Robert interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter. Robert Pattinson New Bravo Interview Bravo: Tell me Rob: How do you become a Hero? B: For the fans you are. You play the out sider, who every one loves… B: Are you talk ing from experience? B: It’s ok to be romantic… • Read full story » Robert Pattinson: ‘I Haven’t Done That Many Romantic Things In My Life’ As you read this, “New Moon” has the biggest opening weekend of 2009, will certainly rake in millions more this weekend and could possibly go on to become the highest-grossing film of the year. In short, it’s a very good time to be Robert Pattinson. Recently, the man otherwise known as Edward Cullen sat down with MTV Radio for a frank chat about life in both Hollywood and Forks, Washington. If you can spare 10 minutes between trips to the theater for repeat viewings, read on to learn RPattz’s thoughts about his director, the hardest “New Moon” scenes to shoot, and the most romantic thing he’s ever done. MTV: Tell us about working with Chris Weitz. What were your thoughts when you first received his now-famous “orientation guide”? Robert Pattinson: When he gave that out, it was such [a surprise]; I mean, I’d never had that from any director. It was 40, 50 pages long, this thing. And this is in addition to a bunch of letters and e-mails and everything [he had sent the cast], trying to show that he’s on the same page as us and he’s completely with us in making the film. And he didn’t falter from that attitude throughout the whole movie. It probably sounds ridiculous how much praise this guy gets. I was just with his wife and him in Japan, and she was even sick of it! But he is like a saint. He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met, let alone directors. I think in a lot of ways that shows in the movie — it’s got a lot of heart. • Read full story » « Older Entries
