Has the character changed for you? And how so?
I’m very surprised at how relaxed I am with everything. I was very nervous before, especially with all the expectations. But since Twilight did well, I think I’m less nervous now.

What can you tell us about Edward in this sequel?
He feels like he’s lost everything since James, Victoria and Laurent appeared in his life. For him, everything spiraled out of control for him, and he’s struggling to stay afloat by pretending that everything is fine. So that’s why everything happens faster this time; he’s been considering it for a while.

How do you cope with the pressure of the hysteria that your appearance causes to young girls after the success Twilight?
The way everyone gets through when being under pressure: I focus on my friends. Look, I shouldn’t be ungrateful, besides the stress it’s fun to get all this recognition. It’s just that some things change in your life. I can’t walk down the street alone, as i used to do and there are moments that in this recognition i feel extremely vulnerable.I try to keep my mind,to distinguish the jobs offered that will help me succeed and stay calm with madness and speed that all this is happening.

They’ve been so many vampire movies…i believe after your trilogy the amount will increase.Do you feel there’s something special you’ve added through your performance to the cinema persona of the “immortals”?
The idea was to bring back for the cinema and the new generation the vampire legend. So, I tried something, that was to play the vampire without following a specific road on how such a role should be played, but focusing on the after adolescent loneliness of a special character.

“Twilight: New Moon” actress Anna Kendrick stars in films with two of Hollywood’s hottest hunks — Robert Pattinson and George Clooney — this year. Dream jobs, right?

She starred with Robert in “New Moon” and “Eclipse” and George in the awards-buzzed Jason Reitman dramady film, “Up in the Air.”

Her friends are totally impressed but she’s like, “Eh, they’re OK … They’re such punks, they’re like such a pair of hooligans.”

Still, she really enjoyed teasing George Clooney about being “old” since he teased her on a daily basis about being short.

Biting off the third best weekend opening of all time with $140.7 million from 4,024 theaters, Summit Entertainment’s female-fueled “New Moon” explodes the myth that you need an all-audience film to do that level of biz, or that fanboys hold all the power.
At the international B.O., the vampire romancer bowed to $118.1 million from 6,681 prints in 26 territories for a sparkling worldwide opening total of $258.8 million.

The power of femmes also astounded with the overperformance of Warner Bros.’ Sandra Bullock sports drama “The Blind Side,” which debuted domestically to an estimated $34.5 million from 3,110 theaters. Together, “New Moon” and “Blind Side” led the second-best weekend ever in terms of total ticket receipts. (The “New Moon” aud was approximately 80% female, “Blind Side’s,” 59%.)

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ducked the New Moon New York premiere after party at the Box on Thursday pleading overcrowding, and instead spent quality time with each other.

The two dined at Mario Batali’s Del Posto and then went clubbing – first at SoHo House and then, from 1:30 am onwards, at Avenue, which they left at 3 am holding hands, according to an eyewitness.

“Rob and Kristen got wind of the scene at The Box from everybody else,” a source told Usmagazine.com. “They decided not to go. They were burnt out from all the media.”

While Robert Pattinson has not said no to a professional singing career, he claims to be too scared to release his songs.

The ‘Twilight’ hunk has hinted many times how much he loves music, and has even showcased his stunning vocals on the movie’s soundtrack.

In fact, Pattinson performed a secret impromptu mini gig in London earlier this year (09).

If you’re a Twilight fan, you’ll recall the rumor mill buzzing earlier this year about Robert Pattinson’s relationship with non-Kristen Stewart leading lady Emilie de Ravin. The two were reportedly seeing a lot of each other while filming a new drama, shortly after de Ravin’s divorce. Was Pattinson two-timing Stewart? We don’t know, because they’re still not officially dating. Here’s what we do know: Pattinson and de Ravin’s movie has a new trailer, and there’s definitely some chemistry going on.

For our interview, Robert was dressed in an old T-shirt, jeans and unlaced trainers. Throughout, he nervously ran his fingers through his gorgeous, floppy hair and revealed he doesn’t feel comfortable talking about himself – which was rather sweet…

Is it difficult to master the American accent?
Not really. All of my favourite actors are American and I grew up watching American movies. It’s weird, but I used to do a New Jersey accent in every audition in the States just because I liked to do it, really. It’s completely bizarre. Everybody would ask: ‘Where are you from?’ And I would say, ‘Oh, I’m from London.’

In the novels, Edward Cullen is described as gorgeous, do you see yourself as that?
Not really! I put off doing the audition for months because of that. I read the book and I thought, well, there’s no point in going in. I thought the whole point of the part was to give a purely physical performance. Like a modelling job. And I thought, I’m not going to go to the gym for one thing, so I’m already ruled out because he’s meant to have this amazing body too.

ZAC Efron insists he’s happy that Robert Pattinson came on the showbiz scene — because now he can have a life!

The High School Musical actor says he’s delighted to give way to the Twilight hunk because Pattinson deflects the attention away from him.

“It’s great because now I don’t get so much female attention,” Efron said.
