MTV’S 10 Most Anticipated Films of 2010 That Feature ‘Twilight’ Cast Members
Posted on Jan 22, 2010 by Grace

From ‘Eclipse’ to ‘The Last Airbender’ to Sundance premieres, here are the 10 most anticipated films of 2010 that feature ‘Twilight’ castmembers.

While the “Twilight Saga” may be giving us some of the biggest blockbusters of its time, most of the series’ stars are indie actors at heart. It’s no surprise, then, that this week’s Sundance Film Festival will unveil three highly anticipated films for Twilighters: “The Runaways,” “Welcome to the Rileys” and “Skateland.”

In 2010, however, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. From blockbusters to indies, quirky love stories to serious dramas, the “Twilight” gang is branching out. With that in mind, here are the top 10 “Twilight”-related movies of 2010 (release dates subject to change, of course). How many will you be lining up to see?

“Remember Me” (March 12)
All of Hollywood is asking one simple question these days: Can Rob Pattinson open a non-”Twilight” movie? We’ll find out soon enough, as he stars alongside Emilie de Ravin in this romantic drama that similarly involves family, tragedy and issues of eternal love — but minus the bloodsucking.

“Eclipse” (June 30)
It’s the big kahuna, the top dog, the whole enchilada. And so far, virtually nothing has been released that gives us any indication of what David Slade’s “Twilight” movie will be like. Who are we kidding? We’re there anyway.

Anna Kendrick Talks About Robert Pattinson

Anna Kendrick talks about Robert Pattinson during her interview with WallStreet.

Wow, you’ve had some great luck with your male co-stars.

I’ve definitely had some eye candy. The entire “Twilight” set is eye candy, almost to the point that you feel bad about yourself.

I loved that you pitted Robert Pattinson and George Clooney against each other. How did Pattinson react after Clooney sent him that Esquire cover that said “Dear Rob: Thanks for all the inspiration. I’m a huge fan. Love, George (two-time Sexiest Man Alive)”?

I think Robert was just relieved that George thought it was funny. He was hesitant to do it because he was afraid that he’ll come off as a jerk. It was my idea to have Robert send George his GQ cover.

Robert Pattinson is about to turn up the heat on his new movie, Bel Ami, when shooting begins in February.

The 23-year-old Twilight hunk will be playing journalist Georges Duroy in the film adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s 19th century novel, and Georges isn’t quite the faithful boyfriend that Edward Cullen is!

Life & Style has obtained the Bel Ami screenplay – check out some highlights!

“One of his sex romps with Christina [Ricci] finds both their characters surprised by the intensity of the racy encounter,” the mag says. “Tender, aching moments pass before Georges asks Christina’s Clotilde, ‘Now?’ And he doesn’t stop there.”

Rob’s character also gets friendly with characters played by Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas!

Categories: Headlines & Rumors | 0 comment

U2 and Jay-Z have already “written, finished and recorded” a song in aid of the Haiti earthquake disaster appeal, according to guitarist The Edge.

He told Irish radio station 2FM it was done and dusted last week and it’s hoped he, Bono and Jay-Z will perform it in London on Friday as part of a “group performance” as part of Friday’s Hope For Haiti telethon.

George Clooney’s two-hour benefit show will be aired on MTV in the UK.

The BBC reports that The Edge told 2FM DJ Dave Fanning over the weekend: “Bono got a call from a producer, Swizz. He and Jay-Z wanted to do something for Haiti.
