Robert Pattinson is listed among Metro Mix Movie Awards for 2009.
Yes, love is in the air this week and we at Moviefone are not immune to the charms (and, um, marketing) of Valentine’s Day. In the spirit of romance, we’ve compiled a list of upcoming, first-time* screen couples we’re really looking forward to, in movies that run the gamut from action-fantasy to romantic-comedy. Whether these new — onscreen anyway — relationships work or not remains to be seen, but that just makes it all the more exciting.

Don’t you just love Rob’s face?! Wet! Wet! Wet!
‘For The Twilight Saga: New Moon we wanted the vampires to look like supermodels and the werewolves to look brawny and rugged,’ says Nathan Mellalieu, the Canadian personal trainer who got Robert Pattinson (possibly the world’s most lusted after actor), burly newcomer Taylor Lautner, and most of the other actors ready to play their supernatural roles in the film. Anyone who’s seen New Moon will know Mellalieu certainly achieved that goal, but how did he do it? ‘When they came to Vancouver – where New Moon was filmed – some of the actors were fitter than others,’ says Mellalieu. ‘Kellan Lutz, who plays one of the most ripped vampires in the film, was already in good shape, but a few needed more attention. I’ve added a new video tv spot of Robert Pattinson in ‘Remember Me’.
‘The Twilight Saga’ star Robert Pattinson gets romantic in his new movie ‘Remember Me,’ and he’s talking to ET about his first impression of sexy co-star Emilie De Ravin! “I was shooting the end of one of the ‘Twilight’ movies, ‘New Moon,’ in Italy and we were going through casting for ['Remember Me'],” he explains. “The director said, ‘I think I found this girl I think you’ll find quite interesting,’ and sent me this e-mail with her audition tape. “My Internet connection was so slow that I could only get the beginning, which was her messing up for about 35 seconds,” continues Robert. “She was really funny, you know, messing up and kind of quite charismatic — but I didn’t know that she was messing up at the time, I thought she was actually doing the scene and kind of just improvising with it and just making it up.” Read more…

The cold winter months are about to get a whole lot hotter! We’ve secured two new exclusive images from Robert Pattinson’s upcoming romantic drama, “Remember Me” (out March 12), and we’re pretty sure that after you get a glimpse at them, you aren’t going to want to do much for the rest of the day except stare. Looking at these two pics, we can safely say that Emilie de Ravin wasn’t lying when she told MTV News last month that she and Rob hit it off right away. “I flew to New York to test with Rob and we immediately got along and had instant great chemistry, which is not an easy thing to come by,” she said. “Obviously you’re acting, but you want to have that connection with somebody. We had it.”
Though we love seeing Rob in a plaid shirt getting, you know, frisky on a bed, we have to admit this second image might be our favorite. It’s nice seeing him let loose for a role — it’s a welcome change from his polite and guarded Edward Cullen ways. Read more…
