So what are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart like? “As individuals, they’re down to earth,” Chaske said at the NYC premiere of The Bounty Hunter last night. “They’re good people.”

And first on his list of new movies to see is Kristen’s rock ‘n’ roll biopic. “I’m going to go check it out. I want to see The Runaways. I’m a big rock n roll fan.”

“It didn’t really sort of affect anything as far as work goes except that there were a lot of people around watching and, like, one or two paparazzi, or maybe it was one or two hundred. Everything had to be barricaded off, which didn’t stop the fans from screaming while we were trying to film a scene.”

How about those love scenes?
“Everything between Robert and I in every way was just very natural and calm. We just had a very good comfort level. After we met, we sort of learned so much about each other as people and we just immediately kind of clicked.”

Anyone that read my review of Remember Me already knows I enjoyed it, and was one of the select few. In fact, I have strong opinions of the film, not from the perspective of how great the acting is or whether director Allen Coulter turned in a tour de force bit of filmmaking navigation, but merely at the idea behind the film and its intentions. However, it’s intentions, it seems, have been largely lost on the critical community.

Remember Me has been painted as a romance story by the majority, but is it? I saw it as something entirely different. As a result, it became a case of reading review after review and saying to myself those most cliche and pompous of all phrases, “They just don’t get it.” But instead of writing some all-encompassing editorial of how I thought I was right and everyone else was wrong I decided to go to the source. I contacted Summit Entertainment and requested interviews with first-time screenwriter Will Fetters and director Allen Coulter. Coulter, as it turns out, is on vacation for a week, but Fetters was available for a conversation and our discussion ended up being more than enough when it came to realizing my intentions of the piece.

In the eyes of the Academy Awards, “The Hurt Locker” was the Best Picture of 2009. But a loyal army of Twilighters feel differently — and this week, they’re making their opinions known at one of Hollywood’s most visible annual conventions.

“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” has been selected for the ShoWest/Fandango Fan Choice Award, which will be presented Thursday at ShoWest’s Final Night Banquet and Award Ceremony at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas. The Fan Choice Award was voted on by nearly 50,000 moviegoers, who were asked on Fandango to select their favorite film of 2009.

ShoWest, the largest annual convention for the motion-picture industry, is currently under way in Las Vegas. This year’s installment will once again end with the celebrated Banquet and Award Ceremony, where awards will also be presented to Vanessa Hudgens, Zach Galifianakis, Amanda Seyfried, Sam Worthington and Jerry Bruckheimer. Rumor has it that a producer from the “Twilight” series will accept the award, and a special video message from one of the franchise’s top stars will be played for those in attendance.

How many of you saw Remember Me over the weekend? Yes, we’re shamelessly raising our hands! First off, thought Robert Pattinson looked hotter than ever in the flick…slightly scruffy, and totally not dead. That’s how we prefer rebel Rob. And we thought he was good in it, too.

We’re sure many of you Twi-lovers had to brace yourselves for those almost-rated-R love scenes with Emilie de Ravin. After all, it’s just too painful to watch him rub up on another girl not Kristen Stewart, right?

Well, don’t you worry, because we’ve got a Robsten love update sure to please the whole lot of you…
