NEW YORK — The mountains of snow piled up on the sidewalks could not keep Robert Pattinson’s fans at bay Monday evening (March 1) at the red-carpet premiere for his romantic drama, “Remember Me.” The screaming masses lined up early and were gifted with a few moments of rabid OME-dom as RPattz ran down the line greeting all those who waited to catch a glimpse of him.
Inside the makeshift press tent at the Paris Theatre in midtown, the energy was no less wild, the screams of folks waiting to talk with Pattinson no less ear-piercing. But the 23-year-old superstar, tired yet amused as ever by the pandemonium, seemed to take it all in stride. While MTV News was chatting with his co-star Emilie de Ravin, Pattinson leaned over and shouted, “Emilie! Emilie! What’s the most fascinating thing about me? Just say it!” Read more…
If Twilight is Robert Pattinson’s ride in first class – the smooth, painless jaunt with slightly-prettier views and largely grime-free surroundings, then Remember Me is the British heartthrob’s excursion in Coach – a slightly cheaper, not quite as cushy and slightly bumpier ride without the views and continuous pop music playing from surrounding speakers.
But as most usually discover when they ride coach, it’s a lot more memorable a trip, and even more so, you’re usually surrounded by great people you’ll possibly never forget (in my case, I met one of my oldest friends riding on a bus when I was about 14-years-old!). And I tell ya, you won’t soon forget the people or the plot of the terrific Remember Me either. Read more…
I’ve added new behind the scenes & interview clips of Robert Pattinson on the set of ‘Remember Me’. These are provided by Collider.com
Summit Entertainment has provided us with a Robert Pattinson on set interview and a ton of behind the scenes footage from Remember Me. While I generally don’t post studio provided interviews, I know how popular Robert Pattinson is, and the 9 minute interview isn’t online yet.
And regarding the behind the scenes footage…when a movie is filming, the studio will document the process and release what’s called B-Roll. This is generally footage of the cast and crew working on location, or footage of the cast filming a scene. If you’re curious what being on a movie set is really like, you’ll enjoy the footage. Remember Me stars Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, and Chris Cooper. Allen Coulter directed the film and William Fetters wrote the script. Here’s the synopsis:
In the romantic drama Remember Me, Robert Pattinson plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has had a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) ever since tragedy separated their family. Tyler didn’t think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through, until the day he met Ally (Emilie de Ravin) through an unusual twist of fate. Love was the last thing on his mind, but as her spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him, he begins to fall for her. Through their love, he begins to find happiness and meaning in his life. Soon, hidden secrets are revealed and tragedy lingers in the air, as the circumstances that brought them together threaten to tear them apart.
I just recently became a tweeter on Twitter. After walking out of a screening of the new Robert Pattinson film “Remember Me,” I tweeted just that. Suddenly my blackberry went into overdrive, and all incoming messages were from new Twitter followers. But really, they were all Robert Pattinson followers. I had no idea just how strong the power of Pattinson was until I witnessed it first hand.
Yesterday I interviewed R. Patz (as his fans affectionately call him) at the Regency Hotel here in New York. He was wearing an army-green jacket, a plain white-T and jeans. What really stood out was his hair. It was sticking straight up on top. It seemed to me that he was unlike most actors with preening stylists in tow. I liked that.
They held me right before it was my turn to go into his room. I could overhear one of the girls on headset saying, “Where are Robert’s lattes? It’s been a while.” Soon a tray came up to the room with two metal pitchers. Read more…
Just because Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are presenting at Sunday’s Oscars without Robert Pattinson that does not mean the world’s most famous sparkly bloodsucker wasn’t invited, too.
“I think the Pattinson community is going insane,” Oscars coproducer Adam Shankman told us last night at Vanity Fair’s FEED Foundation and Hungry in America Project event. “All I want to say is, ‘He’s not available!’ ”
Yes, Pattinson is currently in New York City to promote his new romantic drama Remember Me, but… Read more…
