Categories: Headlines & Rumors | 0 comment

Cheryl Cole is the celebrity most searched for on mobile phones.

The Girls Aloud singer has been named as the personality most searched for by people playing on the internet on their telephone handsets, and her ‘Fight for This Love’ video has been crowned the most downloaded song and video clip.

The 26-year-old beauty strolled ahead in the results – which were put together by the Orange Digital Media Index (ODMI) – and received over 40 per cent more phone searches than ‘Hannah Montana’ star Miley Cyrus, who came second, and ‘Twilight’ hunk Robert Pattinson, who was placed third.

Bobby Long Talks About Robert Pattinson

The songwriter talks sudden stardom, American girls and the dangers of being friends with Robert Pattinson.

Did you think Robert Pattinson was the only cute Brit who shies away from interviews? Last week in New York we caught up with singer/songwriter Bobby Long, a Twilight soundtrack crooner, longtime friend of Robert Pattinson and member of the ever-higher-profile “Brit Pack” that also includes actors/musicians/longtime Pattinson mates Tom Sturridge, Sam Bradley and Marcus Foster. Bobby Long is preparing to release his first studio album this summer, and if it’s anything like he says it is, then you want to start downloading Bobby Long now.

Bobby Long’s “Let Me Sign” for Twilight and “Who Have You Been Loving?” from his first album Dirty Pond Songs have put him on the map in mainstream music and in front of, yep, gaggles of female audiences who are screaming to ride the British boy bandwagon. In the basement of New York’s famed Mercury Lounge, we thought Bobby Long couldn’t get any more candid…until he climbed onstage.

Robert Pattinson: I’m scared of rebuff
Posted on Mar 26, 2010 by Grace
Categories: Interview | 0 comment

By now we know that he can bite. Now he is being all human in a romance, without a happy end. In it, the 23-year-old wants to show his darker side

Are there even female fans that do not want to wake up next to the sexy hunk with the wild hair after they spent the night with him? We did not think so either. The most important question still remains unanswered: Are Robert Pattinson (23) and Kristen Stewart (19) an item or not?
‘in’ asked the shooting star:

IN: Do you sometimes wish for the times when no one knew who you were?
Rob: If I started doing that I’d go nuts. But I admit, this hype can be too much. While shooting ‘Remember Me’ I just had to turn around a corner and there were 40 papparazzis waiting for me. That happens all the time. The most bizarre situation was shooting ‘New Moon’ though. Most of the extras were fans and I had to take my shirt in front of them. I never experienced anything like that but I would never want to go back to my old life.

IN: Because that would mean you would not have met your girlfriend, Kristen Stewart?
Rob: Well, what to say to that? I’d rather not comment on that. (he is all smiles)

Robert Pattinson In Touch Interview
Posted on Mar 26, 2010 by Grace
Categories: Interview | 0 comment

The heart-throb talked to InTouch about the dark sides of fame, hysteric fans and his tricks with flirting

Sexy, cool and a bit melancholic: That’s how Robert Pattinson managed to turn the heads of millions of girls. However, with the help of his new movie ‘Remember Me’ (starts March 25th) he finally wants to escape the ‘Twilight’ drawer. He doesn’t want his fans to remember him just as the hot bloodsucker. ‘I think I’d rather be not remembered then. Just extinguished.’, Robert explains.

Are you not happy about the success of the ‘Twilight’ Saga at all then?
Rob: I am. The fame does have it’s dark sides too though. The fan hype got to a level you can’t really control anymore. Apart from that, I’m just worried I won’t get offered more serious roles anymore.

Well that was not the case for ‘Remember Me’, fortunately. Are you a player like your character in the movie?
Rob: No, not really, maybe sometimes, always depends on the girl. Most of the times it won’t work like that if you go out with the plan of going home with a girl. I can’t even remember the last time I asked a girl on a date. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever done that. I’m just different. (laughs)

Robert Pattinson Gala Interview
Posted on Mar 26, 2010 by Grace
Categories: General NewsInterview | 0 comment

Here are the interview excerpt from Robert’s Gala Magazine.

‘Twilight’ Hottie Robert Pattinson on his career goals, flying fists and the dark side of fame

Only for a few seconds he looks into the interviewer’s eyes before focusing on a random spot in the room, just to look back into her eyes shortly while tousling his hair. Robert Pattinson,23, is always in motion, he seems nervous, somehow shy. During the conversation, which takes place in Regency Hotel in New York, the teen star becomes calmer, maybe because this one time it’s not about vampires.

I: In your new movie you are playing a student revolting against his superior father figure. Are you a rebel in your private life as well?
R: Not really. Maybe I’m just a little late to that party though and my rebel period is yet to come (grins)

I: Have you ever been part in a real fight at least, since that is supposed to be normal guys’ behavior?
R: Not just once! As a teenager I maneuvered myself into delicate situations a lot and never realized it until the first hit got made. That was when it has always been too late.

I: So it was probably easy to shoot the fighting scene in the bginning of ‘Remember Me’ then?
R: Foremost it was frustrating. I hit the stuntman in the face four times. As hard as I could. And the guy just grins at me and tells me he doesn’t feel anything.

Pattinson Will Take a Pub Over A Premiere
Posted on Mar 25, 2010 by Grace
Categories: Headlines & Rumors | 0 comment

You won’t see heartthrob Robert Pattinson spending money on extravagant homes or fancy cars or flitting from one red carpet to another.

“That’s not my scene,” he told me at the recent BAFTA Award ceremony in London. I’m more than happy to do the normal things and buy the things I bought before all this madness kicked off.”

In fact, the 23-year-old actor, known among British media as “Our Patz,” said he was stunned to open the tabloids and find pictures of himself “buying underwear at my local store.”

“These guys must be hiding in the rails or something,” he said of the paparazzi. The star of the “Twilight” movies, born in West London, said, “I didn’t go into acting because I wanted to be famous, I got into acting because I loved the creation and the making of good credible drama. Fame is just an extra added on.”

Robert Talks about Remember Me, Bel Ami and Sex Scenes With TimeOut
Posted on Mar 25, 2010 by Grace
Categories: Headlines & RumorsInterview | 0 comment

The teen heartthrob proves there’s more to life than ‘Twilight’ as he talks to Time Out about his ‘serious’ indie romance, ‘Remember Me’

The hum of nervous excitement buzzing around Robert Pattinson’s hotel suite this morning is such that you half expect him to walk out with golden skin and alarmingly sharp teeth. But in the flesh, the ‘Twilight’ star is warm, earnest and posher than you might imagine, with something of the teenage schoolboy to him, even down to the frayed cuffs on his jacket. In our closely monitored chat (20 minutes! No questions about Kristin!) Pattinson talks about his role as chain-smoking student loser Tyler Hawkins in the US indie movie ‘Remember Me’, about creating ‘mystique’ as an actor and about sucking blood off his co-star’s lip.

You looked scared stiff when you were handing out a Bafta award last month. Are you getting shyer?
‘I think I am, yeah! The more interviews you do, the more stuff you say to people. You suddenly get worried that people are more likely to judge you. If no one knows anything about you, then you can say whatever you want – and just contradict yourself later. But the more contradictions you make, the scope gets narrower as to what you can say before people get pissed off.’

Where does ‘Remember Me’ fit into the ‘Twilight’ craziness?

‘I’d read tons of scripts after the first “Twilight” movie and this was one of maybe two that I liked. I didn’t work for the whole year after “Twilight”. What did I do? Nothing! [Laughs] It was really nice. I was still so used to hanging around most of the time when I was in England. And now that I’ve been working a lot, I can’t imagine going a month without fretting. So now, I’m doing job-to-job-to-job. Which is a dangerous thing to do because you have a film coming out every three months. It’s over-saturation. You have to work a bit on creating some kind of mystique.’
