One of the stars of the “Twilight” movie series stopped by a Baton Rouge bicycle shop while he was in town this weekend and left with a new bike.

Workers at Capitol Cyclery on Essen Lane confirmed that Robert Pattinson, who plays the vampire Edward in the films, visited the store over the weekend and bought a new bike.

An employee said Pattinson “wasn’t there to be a big celebrity” and that they had received other calls about the visit.

The entire group will soon be reunited as production is scheduled to begin shortly on the fourth and fifth films in the franchise. Bella and Edward get married, there’s some sex, and then a hybrid baby, and then a really lame war which will actually play ever so slightly better on film because, well, someone other than Stephenie Meyer wrote the screenplay.

Having said that, for the faithful, there is still So.Much.Cheese for you to enjoy. Like the wedding toasts. The wedding toasts in Part 1 are perhaps the most cliché and uninspired words you will hear next year. And when delivered by Kellan Lutz, Jesus Christ it’ll be a great time, to go and laugh yourself silly with your friends. Or squeeze their hands from the pain of the fontrum. It really depends on how you react to such things.

Here’s the one sweet fan experience when she met Robert in Baton Rouge.

I have a friend that manages a bike shop here in Baton Rouge, and I brought my bikes in to get fixed. I walk in, and it’s my 3 good friends who run the store, and only 2 other people. An older gentleman, and a younger, bearded one. I didn’t recognize either so I just kept walking right past them (like 6 inches away from them) straight to the warehouse of the shop.

A half hour later, I realize, this fucking bearded guy is ROBERT PATTINSON. Robert f*** Pattinson. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, jeans, a red flannel shirt, and black shoes (looked like skate/bike shoes). He decides to buy a bike from my friend (a thousand dollar bike that I’m sure you’ll see in paparazzi pictures from now on). This is a nice bike, and needs to be setup in the warehouse before sending him with it, so I then find myself in the predicament OF HANGING OUT WITH ROBERT PATTINSON IN A SMALL ROOM FOR AN HOUR. He’s the most attractive person I’ve ever f*** met. And his beard? Epic. He’s also the sweetest goddamn person, and I didn’t ask for a picture, because he seemed to be enjoying the fact that not a single one of us acknowledged his celebrity.

Anyway. That’s it. F*** epic, and I don’t even like Twilight. Oh, and that smile? That f*** smile? CUTEST THING EVER.

I’ve added new high quality filming photos of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as they arrive together on set to prep for their next film installment of the Twilight Saga: ‘Breaking Dawn’, which will be film on location in Baton Rouge, LA . The couple appear to be very much in love as they share a residence together in Louisiana during their stay! Actor Taylor Lautner also arrives this afternoon to begin the films preproduction.

What do you think of the casting for the movie of Water for Elephants?
I think Robert Pattinson is really going to shine in that role. He’s so dedicated. This was a rough-and-tumble shoot, and when I was there on the set, he’d be lying in the dirt for 18 straight takes in a row, and he would nail every single one. He’s a nice guy, and he reads. He always has a book in his hand. My family got cameos. I’m in a scene where Rosie [the elephant] is raiding a produce stand.

Hollywood’s new SPIDER-MAN ANDREW GARFIELD is adamant he will never fall out with ROBERT PATTINSON over a role – because the two actors are genuinely good friends.

The two British stars were both in the running to step into Tobey Maguire’s superhero suit for the upcoming movie, but it was The Social Network star Garfield who eventually won the coveted part.

But Garfield insists there is no animosity between himself and Pattinson over the decision – and he has vowed to support his pal’s career.

He tells Britain’s ShortList magazine, “I don’t see it that way (as a competition). Rob’s a friend of mine and I care about him a lot. We’re very supportive of each other.”

First up, Robsten hit a private pool party at the Thomson hotel Friday and didn’t hide their affection for one another. At. All.

“There was a birthday party on the rooftop by the pool, and everyone was surprised when Rob and Kristen showed up together,” a source at the shindig tells us. “They looked really happy, laughing and hanging out side-by-side the entire time.
