Does Robert Pattinson have a sick sense of humor or is he Rob Pattinson just a mean guy? Is that why he likes watching Antiques Roadshow?

Pattinson recently came out and was quoted as saying that he enjoyed watching people get disappointed on Antiques Roadshow when they found out that what they had brought in to be valued was worthless.

“I love the faces of the posh people when they think something is going to be valued at more than it is and, when it’s not, they’re gutted,” said Pattinson.

X Factor’s Wagner Carillho has won an unlikely fan in the shape of Twilight star Robert Pattinson.

Speaking to The Mirror today, Robert said that he is a big supporter of Wagner and would love to see him perform live.

He told the paper, “I love this guy. He doesn’t have the best voice, but he enjoys what he does and I respect him for that. It’s great just to see him wind Simon Cowell up.”

Rob: I have found really nice agent for myself; they are really close friends at the same time. The thing is, most of the Hol ly wood actors believe that the agents are the per son who brings the new job, like “Oh, if you don’t fetch a good assign ment, you are fired!”.

“It’s one of those things where I look at Emmett and I see me. I just see this jovial person, and he can be the protector, and I was with my family growing up. But, then again, I don’t let a lot of stuff faze me; I don’t like being stressed out in life I don’t think I would have played a great Edward.

I think what Rob [Pattinson] does with it is mind-blowing. They need someone like Rob to really give Edward so many layers without doing much. And I love my character to death. I would never want to give up Emmett – it doesn’t matter how many lines, it doesn’t matter if I’m number one on the call sheet – I love him to death, and I’d play him for 10 more movies.”

Latest info from swed distrib about Bel Ami promo. It was made to Cannes-10 to sell the film. Plans show BA in Berlin or/and Cannes 2011.

Berlin runs in Feb with a cut off submission date of Nov 1st for feature length movies and Cannes runs in May, so lets hope that Bel Ami secures the final 3 areas [US, Spain & Japan] sooner rather then later so we can get this show on the road. Our UK source yesterday emailed me with the following: “I understand this period is frustrating, but rest assured we will have news soon. Hope fully at least a rough indication of when we can expect the film to be released” so hang on in there it won’t be much longer!”

“I am from Sao Paulo and I lodged with my family in the hotel where the actors Kristen and Robert are – I’m visiting.

I’m not a fan of the saga, but I admire these actors. I found them at lunch, they were with Stephenie Meyer and a girl at a table and other guys in another. I don’t understand English very much, even less the European accent the girl had, but I admire it and I could see that they are really nice. At the hotel they asked me if I was a fan and not to bother them. I had no problem with it, I respect their space and privacy.
