Sam Bradley Talks About Robert In A New Interview SG: So your musical beginnings were friends and family-based, and then so were your first big steps out into wider acclaim—outside London, out into the world, with your schoolmate Robert (Pattinson)… SB: It’s still all friend-based. I don’t work with anyone that isn’t a friend. My band, my booking agent, my manager… Everyone I want to work with, I want to have a relationship that is stronger than just work. As far as the connection with Rob, he’s a friend—that’s it. There’s no special story. The special story is in our friendship. That’s it. There’s nothing grand about it. I got a song on this Twilight soundtrack—that opened up a bigger audience than I was ready for, perhaps, and then it was up to me to keep the music-lovers, and expand and grow on and through and past and with that. SG: I can’t let you go and not go back to Rob for one final question, but I don’t want to get you into any trouble… • Read full story » Robert Pattinson has sushi with the boys (but he really wants salad) Robert Pattinson recently enjoyed a night out in Baton Rouge, La., with the boys of “Breaking Dawn.” The men of “Twilight,” who’ve been exploring the city as they film the final two installments of the film franchise, popped out for food and drink on Tuesday. Pattinson, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Jamie Campbell-Bower and Michael Sheen hit local joint Tsunami, reports Hollywood Life, for sushi, sashimi and even a few shots. A nearby table of admirers sent some lemon drops over to the vampire gang. While that highbrow snacking is more like Hollywood, Rob has been sampling to local fare as well. Recently stopping by a deli chain called Maxwell’s Market, the actor caused hysteria with the female staff, according to People. So what did he order — a juicy po’ boy or some cajun delight? “He ordered a house salad,” a staffer told the Ministry. “It wasn’t that exciting.” We dare say the young female population begs to differ. Source: LA Times Paul Giamatti Talks Robert and ‘Cosmopolis’ Earlier this week, Paul Giamatti was at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival to support his film, “Win Win,” a title that also aptly describes another flick the recent Golden Globe-winner has on his horizon: “Cosmopolis.” Why is “Win Win” so fitting a description of Giamatti’s participation in “Cosmopolis”? Well, he gets work with director David Cronenberg and Robert Pattinson, of course! After Giamatti, who stood with his “Win Win” costar Bobby Cannavale, admitted he was “not sure” when production on “Cosmopolis” would come together, there was one thing that was certain: he’d get to work with the “dreamiest man alive.” • Read full story » Twilight Star Talks Pattinson, Breaking Dawn and That Steamy Sex Scene Photo Twilight’s Elizabeth Reaser feels for Robert Pattinson. She really does. The obsessive fandemonium surrounding R.Pattz can’t be easy. However… “It’s a complicated situation,” Reaser, who plays Esme in the Twi-franchise, told me while at Sundance’s Bing Bar to promote indie flick Homework.”If you’re going to be an actor and you don’t want to do dinner theater and you want to do movies like this, it’s a crazy risk.” She continued, ”I know for me, you want people to watch you tell stories. There’s some part of you that is somewhat of an exhibitionist… I’m not saying you want people to chase you down the street screaming and attacking you, but it’s a price you have to pay, I think.” • Read full story » WFE & Breaking Dawn Listed Among MovieFone’s “75 Films We Can’t Wait To See This Year” Posted on Jan 25, 2011 by Grace

Robert Pattinson Keen on Jeff Buckley Biopic Vampire heartthrob Robert Pattinson is looking to get his teeth into a challenging new role as folk legend Jeff Buckley. The brooding 24-year-old British actor wants to put bloodsucker Edward Cullen behind him when the Twilight saga comes to an end and has set his heart on depicting his musical idol. Buckley drowned in 1997 in Memphis, Tennessee, aged 30 and immediately became a cult figure. A Hollywood insider said: “Rob is obsessed with this project and is doing everything he can to land the part. “He has already told his business team this is his passion and they agree it could be the film that makes him a legitimate Oscar contender.” • Read full story » New Robert Pattinson “Bel Ami” Movie Still I’ve added new movie still of Robert Pattinson in “Bel Ami” movie to the gallery. Keira Knightley Replacing Marion Cotillard In David Cronenberg’s ‘Cosmopolis’? Well, we were once pretty excited for David Cronenberg‘s “Cosmopolis,” but with the cast being switched out wholesale, our expectations have diminished. With Robert Pattinson replacing Colin Farrell earlier in the month, it suddenly didn’t make much sense to have the previously attached female Marion Cotillard still on board to play his wife (she’s ten years his senior). And so no surprise, it looks like she’s been replaced too. The eagle eyes over at the the Cosmopolis fansite noticed an interesting update at the Alfama Films website. The production company is now listing Keira Knightley as part of the cast and considering there is only one female role in the film, it looks like she has gone ahead and replaced Marion Cotillard in the movie. Based on Don DeLillo‘s book of the same name, the film follows 24 hours in the life of a newly married billionaire Eric Packer (Pattinson) as he cheats on his wife, is pursued by a stalker, gets attacked by a protester and gradually loses his entire fortune over the course of a single day. Knightley would play his wife, and considering they are only a year apart in age, it makes a lot of sense. Paul Giamatti, who was in talks for the film late last year for a role as one of the stalkers pursuing the billionaire, is noticeably missing from the cast list. Perhaps he’s been put off from the recent casting changes and has decided to move on as it’s a considerable step down going from working with Farrell and Cotillard to uh, Pattinson and Knightley. • Read full story » Time’s Top 10 British Invasions – Robert is #8 As former tabloid editor Piers Morgan slides into Larry King’s slot on CNN with his new talk show Piers Morgan Tonight, TIME takes a look at some other British exports that made it big across the pond
