Robert & Kristen Might be Splitting Soon
Posted on May 19, 2011 by Grace

ROBERT Pattinson is planning to dump girlfriend Kristen Stewart — according to a report from a British magazine.

Closer claims the couple — who  first met on the set of the first Twilight movie in 2008 — are headed for a split because Rob wants to be single.

“Rob may soon be a single man — he loves Kristen, but has suggested they have less in common,” a source said.

“He seems to be finding the relationship tough at the moment — sometimes Kristen just wants to stay in watching films or listening to Bob Dylan. Their hectic work schedules mean they’re spending less and less time together and things seem to have become more distant between them.

“Rob is becoming one of the most in-demand actors around. He’s finding it hard to juggle work and a relationship, but he’s torn because he finds it hard to imagine splitting up with Kristen as they experienced so much on Twilight together.

“She helped him become the star he is today. He’ll always feel loyal to her because of that.”

Robert Pattinson’s Wish Lead To ‘Breaking Dawn’ Audition For Director Gus Van Sant
Posted on May 17, 2011 by Grace
Categories: 'Breaking Dawn'Headlines & RumorsInterviewVideo Updates | 0 comment

Calling “Twilight” a hot property would be like calling Justin Bieber “well-liked” by his fans — technically true, but a total understatement. Sure, for every Twihard, there’s a naysayer putting the books and movies down. Still, the pool of contenders who were vying to direct the final two installments of the film franchise included some real Hollywood heavyweights, indicating more than a modicum of r-e-s-p-e-c-t from the film community. The Oscar-friendly candidates included Bill Condon, Sofia Coppola and Gus Van Sant.

Obviously, Bill won the honor, but Gus opened up about the selection process when we caught up with him at the Cannes Film Festival. So what’s going through the mind of an Oscar-nominated director during an “audition” for a job?

“I got very nervous,” Gus revealed. “There were like 15 people. I had never really auditioned or gone into a job interview in that way since maybe 1988 or ’87. I guess I was unprepared for that. Usually people just hire me.”

When it came to helming “Breaking Dawn,” demonstrated talent behind the camera wasn’t enough — the producers wanted someone with a vision that would honor the book.

“In this case, they wanted me to talk about their project, which really needed to follow very closely the book, and which the outline was following very closely the book,” Gus said. “So there was a certain amount of room for illumination, I think, on their own project, but they were the experts.”

“Twilight” fans far and wide will breathe a collective sigh of relief at hearing what a priority staying true to the source material was in developing “Breaking Dawn.” Those who were rooting for Gus (that includes one Robert Pattinson, by the way, who the director says was actually responsible for his involvement with the audition process!), might be a little less happy. Van Sant said his pitch for the job probably wasn’t as in-depth as the “Twilight” gods wanted.

“I was talking about the book and really all I was saying was ‘OK, this is great, let’s go do it,’” he said. “That was my pitch and I think they’re used to something else. They’re used to, for those of you who might audition for film jobs, they’re used to like a 40-minute dissertation with perhaps visual aids and a pep talk about how fantastic this project is going to be and I just didn’t know how to how do that.”

Rob Pattinson Finally Admits He Adopted His Dog ‘Bear’ With Kristen Stewart!
Posted on May 17, 2011 by Grace

Rob and Kristen are official parents! They have taken their relationship to the next step and officially adopted a dog…together!

Adopting a pet together is a big step in a relationship, especially for a young couple like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Rob finally has admitted he and Kristen rescued their new canine companion, Bear, together while they were shooting Breaking Dawn. Robsten are officially parents!

“Thank God that Kristen was with me. So we just adopted one dog. A mutt. We called him Bear,” the 24-year-old actor said in a recent interview with a German newspaper.

It turns out the vampire heartthrob is a real softie when it comes to animals, and wanted to rescue all the dogs in the shelter when he went to pick out a pet with his girlfriend.

We love this news because the couple must be thinking their love is long term — adopting a pet together is an informal commitment that their relationship will span the years it takes to care for a dog. Maybe raising Bear will be a test run to how the couple will care for children!

We’re thrilled Rob and Kristen’s relationship is stronger than ever. We can’t wait for them to continue to make milestones and we hope that one day they make it down the aisle!

More information on first ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ trailer
Posted on May 17, 2011 by Grace

As discussed in mid-April, rumor has it that the first The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 trailer will be released at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, and now a few more details on what that first trailer might just contain have been unveiled as well.

Sérgio Sá Leitão, President of RioFilme which aided in the Brazilian leg of production for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, tweeted (translated):

I noticed today that the first trailer for Dawn has four spectacular shots filmed in Rio. It will air on MTV Movie Awards.”

Sérgio Sá Leitão was the original source which indicated that the trailer would appear at the MTV Movie Awards, although many fans expected the same based on the history of the Twilight Saga films’ relationship with that event.

As noted before, this isn’t an “official” confirmation of this information, as Leitão is not a direct spokesperson for Summit Entertainment, but it is more credible than most.

The moments filmed in Brazil this past winter included the honeymoon arrival scene with “Bella” (Kristen Stewart) and “Edward” (Robert Pattinson), which was witnessed by many fans on the street and which is previewed in the above still image of the film. Also, there was a boat sequence, filming at Casa em Paraty (a.k.a. “Isle Esme”), a waterfall shot, and a few others on the beach. Pick-ups for some of the beach scenes were done in the Caribbean in late April, the last scenes done, as of now at least, by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson for the Twilight Saga.

The MTV Movie Awards take place on June 5th in Los Angeles, California. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and the cast were nominated in six different categories, and voting is open until June 4th.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′s U.S. release date is November 18th, 2011.

Michael Fassbender Mentions Robert Pattinson

‘So how does it feel to be on the launch pad of global fame? So far he has managed to protect his below-the-radar life. Working with Brad Pitt, he witnessed the downside: “A young female fanbase is the toughest to slip and slide away from,” he says.

“I don’t suppose Robert Pattinson could just stroll down to Tesco without getting mobbed. It is nice to be able to go out and continue to observe people, a luxury as an actor.”’
