The Hollywood Reporter published a gallery today with all the Breaking Dawn stills released so far. We’ve seen those already, but there was also a small Bel Ami mention that not many people noticed. A really important one: possible U.S. release date.

Pattinson, who recently appeared in Francis Lawrence’s Water for Elephants, will also star in Bel Ami with Uma Thurman; the film is set for an October 19th release.

AS 7,000 fans watched in stunned disbelief Robert Pattinson snubbed Kristen Stewart and snogged her mate instead. Her male mate.

So it’s little wonder that Kristen sank her fangs into R-Patz just minutes after the pair collected their gong for Best Kiss at the MTV Movie awards.

The on/off couple briefly returned to off as the actress tore a strip off the vampire heart-throb, screeching across the VIP area backstage: “You made me look like a total jerk out there!”

As the British actor, 25, tried to defend himself, she raised a “talk to the hand” palm and brushed past him.

And when R-Patz again tried to defend himself, she muttered, “Don’t even bother”, before flouncing off into the main auditorium.

But love always finds a way. So the star ran after her again and – after three minutes of heated debate – all was once again well with the young couple.

Trouble initially flared when they went on stage to receive their gong – the third time in a row they have been crowned best kissers – surely an Oscar category for 2012?

Twice before they have refused to recreate their snogs on the awards stage, but this time Kristen suggested the pair give the chanting fans what they wanted – a full-blown smacker.

Leaning in, she was all-set for a tongue sarnie… until, Rob deadpanned: “I feel bad because I don’t feel like kissing you.

“You don’t want to kiss me, do you?”

Refusing to give up, the 21-year-old actress replied: “It’s been a long time and I think maybe we should finally go for it.”

R-Patz disagreed. Shaking his head, he continued: “I just think there’s someone else in the audience who will appreciate it a little more.”

Then, jumping into the crowd, he grabbed Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner, and kissed him full on the mouth.

As the crowd, mostly teenage girls, shrieked, Rob dusted himself off and planted a delicate kiss on Taylor’s hand.

Despite her public humiliation, Kristen and Robert patched up their differences, and were later holding hands and giggling.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was the event’s big winner, picking up five gongs.

But Mr Pattinson got his wrists slapped by MTV execs after swearing while presenting Reese Witherspoon with her Generation Award. He joked he had “f***** her” during filming of their movie, Water For Elephants and censors failed to bleep him, ensuring shocked Americans.

This year’s MTV Movie Awards came, as usual, with some shockers.

Robert Pattinson was the main culprit Sunday night, dropping an F-bomb during the Generation Award presentation for his Water for Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon. Oops — it went uncensored on the East Coast. Witherspoon also said the F-word during her acceptance speech.

MTV’s defense: “It was unexpected, and was a technical glitch in not catching it.’’

Pattinson also locked lips with Twilight costar Taylor Lautner but not rumored girlfriend Kristin Stewart. The two won Best Kiss but refused to lock lips for fans. Though the super secretive couple was spotted holding hands later backstage.

Another eyebrow raiser: Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake gave a hint of their summer flick Friends With Benefits, by cupping each other’s genitals while presenting.

As for couplings over the weekend: Rumors have started rumbling that Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel are starting up something after being photographed on a motorcycle together. Jennifer Aniston, who was spied looking cozy with rumored love interest Justin Theroux at an MTV after party, confused gossipers when she showed up solo to accept her Decade of Hotness award at the Spike TV’s 2011 Guys Choice Awards Saturday night.

And finally, young love has blossomed between two rising stars and they’re ready to take it the next level. After meeting two months ago, actress Nikki Reed and American Idol’s Paul McDonald have gotten engaged. The Breaking Dawn star, 23, showed off her rock on the red carpet at the MTV awards.

Reed told E!, “He’s the one.’’

After Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart‘s much-hyped MTV Movie Awards appearance Sunday, the couple enjoyed some quality time at a star-studded after-party on the roof of West Hollywood’s Soho House.

Stewart surfaced in black Levi’s and a loose-fitting white T-shirt — a casual contrast from her red, safety-pinned Balmain number from the awards. Pattinson kept his flannel shirt and donned a baseball cap and dark denim jacket.

The pair roamed the rooftop garden during the private CAA celebration thrown for MTV Movie Awards host Jason Sudeikis, chatting with “Twilight” costar Taylor Lautner and his lady friend Lily Collins.

At one point, Stewart pulled a beer-sipping Pattinson to a vacant table and shared close conversation, showing him pictures on her phone.

Another couple made a big showing at the Grey Goose- and YooStar-sponsored bash: Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, who had their public debut as a couple Sunday night in the company of friends, including Chelsea Handler, Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon.

But, forget these victories! The biggest news of the night happens to be the hot new friendships the two Breaking Dawn stars forged during the evening.

First up? Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, and that kiss! No need to take sides anymore… Team Edward and Team Jacob are obviously a new item. Rivals on-screen, but friendly off-screen, their surprising smooch may have been way outside their comfort zones, but it probably brought them closer together than ever before. And, it stirred up more buzz than any lip-lock between the two guys and Stewart. Hmm… maybe Pattinson planned the kiss to purposely deflect attention from his PDA with MTV Movie Awards date, Kristen Stewart.

Speaking of K-Stew, she developed an equally-surprising bond with another star during the show — Nicki Minaj. Talk about an odd pairing. Kristen Stewart and Nicki Minaj may seem like oil and water, but the down-to-earth actress and out-of-this-world rapper really seemed to click.

“[Kristen] had shoes on that didn’t hurt her feet. And she didn’t care that they looked really kind of crusty,” Minaj told MTV News. “But I did too! I had my Uggs on backstage. So that made me bond with her. She’s cute.”

Nothing like a stiletto swap-out and the ultimate quest for the comfortable (even at a red carpet awards show!) to create a connection. Kristen Stewart and Nicki Minaj: This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Ditto Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Justin Bieber prefers Twilight to Harry Potter. The “Baby” singer revealed his inner “Twi-Hard” at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, picking Forks over Hogwarts.

Perhaps The Biebs enjoys the romantic storylines that the Twilight films have to offer. However, it is interesting that Justin Bieber chose the vampires over the wizards, since girlfriend, Selena Gomez, portrays a magical teen on the hit Disney show, Wizards of Waverly Place.

It seems that no one can resist Bella and Edward’s love story. (Maybe Robert Pattinson should have kissed Justin at the MTV Movie Awards.) While Twilight and Harry Potter are the two biggest franchises of Justin’s generation, his unofficial vote could sway “Beliebers” thoughts on the Vampires vs. Wizards debate.

It looks like Justin is a romantic, which is obvious when he is with his girlfriend. Fans can just imagine Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez cuddling up on the couch for a Twilight movie night. Do you think he’s excited for Breaking Dawn?
