The British actor – who is best known for playing vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight Saga’ film series – was left perplexed during filming on the first movie when a female supporter handed over her three-month-old child to meet the cast. He recalled: “My favourite moment from the whole thing was when we doing the first one and there were people waiting by the perimeter fence and this woman handed over her three-month-old baby to the AD (assistant director) to meet us. “The AD didn’t know what to do with it, so he was like, ‘I think she wants you to sign the baby or something?’ and then we realised she wanted pictures with the baby. “I didn’t understand the reality of the thing at the time, that people would see the pictures, so there’s a picture of me on the internet somewhere biting this baby.” Despite his revelation, Robert – who is dating his ‘Twilight Saga’ co-star Kristen Stewart – insists he didn’t make physical contact with the infant and only pretended to bite when posing for the picture. He added: “I didn’t actually, like, touch it. It’s a funny picture. The baby was so small its entire head fit in my mouth.” Source: CTV Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart New Cineplex Interview Videos New “Breaking Dawn: Part 1″ Movie Poster Kristin Scott Thomas Talks About Robert Pattinson To USA Today Kristin Scott Thomas is firmly on Team Edward. Where he was interviewed with Empire Online. Bill Condon Talks About Robert in Breaking Dawn To MTV Videos Robert Pattinson New “EW” Outtake With Kristen & Taylor I’ve added new outtake of Robert Pattinson along with Taylor Lautner & Kristen Stewart did for “Entertainment Weekly” magazine last year. Click the image for view to actual photo. Why is Bill Condon directing two flaw free Twilight movies? Bill Condon is one of the greatest living directors, on the strength of Gods and Monsters, Kinsey and Dreamgirls. So why on Earth would he choose to film the ultra-weird conclusion to Stephenie Meyer’s paranormal soap operaTwilight? That’s the biggest question that’s been hanging overBreaking Dawn, theTwilightfinale which Condon is adapting as two movies. And we got an answer, of sorts, when we talked to Condon at San Diego Comic-Con. We heard from Condon at a specialTwilightpress conference first thing in the morning, and then again at the movie’s Hall H panel. And it seems like he has two reasons for wanting to do these two movies: the love of outsiders, and the love of vampires. I got the chance to ask Condon one question, so I asked about the theme of social repression, and people not being allowed to be themselves. That theme shows up in pretty much all of Condon’s other films, so I was wondering how it might be expressed inTwilight: Breaking Dawn. And Condon responded:
So he feels as though the vampires and werewolves ofTwilighthave something in common with the alienated director James Whale inGods and Monsters, or Jennifer Hudson’s alienated singer inDreamgirls. And the other thing that Condon kept stressing was that he’d always been a huge fan of horror, growing up, and he’d always loved vampires. He was a huge fan of the supernatural soap Dark Shadows, for example, as he explained to the press conference:
“I started out in horror movies,” Condon told the panel in Hall H, referring to his early work on films likeCandyman: Farewell to the Fleshand various TV movies. He immediately “imprinted” on the material when he read the novel and an early script outline. “I loved it. It’s all third act. All the other movies have been leading up to this.” And he feels like the second half of the firstBreaking Dawnmovie turns into “a really cool horror movie,” with the birth and the wolf pack attacking. The note of Twilight as horror movie came from the film’s stars as well — Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart talked about how they had an animatronic baby in the scene where Bella is introduced to her baby for the first time. And it looked like Chucky from theChild’s Playmovies, with hair and teeth, and eyes that kept moving around even after Condon yelled “cut.” If anybody can make the tail end of the Edward-Bella-Jacob triangle into a deeper story about outsiders who are trying to find themselves and create the lives they were supposed to have — instead of the lives that society says they should have — it would be the man who made Alfred Kinsey into a great cinematic hero. Let’s hope he pulls it off. Source: io9 ‘Breaking Dawn’ Cast Was ‘Crying A Lot’ Filming Finale Posted on Jul 27, 2011 by Grace
Categories: 'Breaking Dawn' • Headlines & Rumors • Interview • Video Updates | 0 comment After five years and four films together, it’s natural to assume the cast of the hugely popular “Twilight” franchise became emotional when they finished filming both halves of the “Breaking Dawn” finale. According to the cast, they needed plenty of tissues. “We were crying a lot,” Nikki Reed said during MTV News’ Comic-Con 2011 “Takeover” live stream event. Co-star Elizabeth Reaser agreed: “The last day of filming definitely was emotional because Peter Facinelli and I wrapped at the exact same moment. … It was Facinelli, Ashley [Greene], Kellan [Lutz], Jackson [Rathbone] and myself, and we were up in Squamish [British Colombia] just doing stunts and night shoots, and then they finally wrapped Peter and I,” she recalled. “We were just completely shocked and hugging, and then we went out and we had a little meal together. “It was surreal,” Reaser continued. “It was nice that I got to finish with Peter, since he’s my show husband — forever.” So, who was the most emotional castmember? “Rob [Pattinson]‘s probably a mess after ending this,” Reed said with a smile. “Rob cried a lot, actually,” Reaser added. “He shaved his head over it,” Reed joked, making light of Pattinson’s curious new coiffure. “He was crying so hard he had to cut all of his hair. … A therapist should be called,” she teased. Getting away from the crying and emoting for a moment, we asked Reed and Reaser what scenes they’re most looking forward to seeing in the finished films. “There’s actually some freaky, weird scenes that I want to see,” Reaser said. “I want to see the freaky birth,” she revealed, “and there’s all kinds of weird, crazy, strange, scary, beautiful stuff in this movie.” Reed said she wants to see “all of it.” “I want a freaky, weird wedding,” she added, before getting serious about her character’s emotional evolution in the final two films: “I was really nervous about the relationship between Rosalie and Bella. This was a very specific dynamic, and I wanted to make sure that it felt like the transition happened naturally and organically,” she explained. “I’m nervous about seeing all of it. I’m a nervous wreck about all of these movies.” Source: MTV Robert Pattinson And Demi Lovato To Attend Teen Choice Awards Just when we thought the Teen Choice Awards couldn’t get any more star-studded, we hear the news that Twilight Saga‘s Robert Pattinson and Demi Lovato have become the latest celebrities to be on the list to attend the ceremony. The awards show, which will take place next month, will be hosted by Ellen Degeneres and will see our favourite celebrities being celebrated for their contribution in music, TV and movies. Whilst Demi has been nominated for an array of awards including the Choice TV actress (for her role in Sonny With A Chance) and Choice Summer Music Star – Female (for her singleSkyscaper), Rob has been nominated for his role in The Twilight Saga and Water For Elephants. And it of course goes without saying that Rob has also been nominated for the Choice Male Hottie award. According to Digital Spy, Justin Bieber, Rebecca Black, Taylor Lautner, Paul Wesley, Lucy Hale and the Kardashians will also attend the event. We wonder if Rob will bring a plus one….
