Rob Pattinson Did NOT Buy A Lifetime Membership To The London Library, Contrary To Prior Reports!

As we all know, Rob Pattinson loves to read, and he’s a member of the London Library but a rep tells HollywoodLife.com that he has not bought a lifetime membership and he’s not a frequent visitor. Find out why!
Robert Pattinson may be an international superstar, but he also has academic skills. Rob is extremely well-read and has said that his favorite thing to do when he’s by himself is read. A recent report claimed Rob just bought a lifetime membership to the London Library, however we spoke to a rep from the Library who clarifies that Rob has been a member for a while, but has not bought a lifetime pass.

The previous report claimed: “Robert decided he’d been spending too much time lying about smoking, watching movies and munching junk food. He wants to expand his mind. He’s splashed out £18,500 for a lifetime membership [at the London Library].”

A London Library rep tells us, “So as to respect the privacy of all London Library members, we do not speak about our members unless they themselves have made some relevant public comment. Because Mr. Pattinson has spoken in an interview about his London Library membership, it is already on the public record that he has been a member and that he has a great love for the Library. Mr. Pattinson has not purchased a life membership, however, and his very busy filming schedule means that at no time has been a regular Library visitor.”

The rep clarified that the London Library is not “exclusive” and membership is “open to all book lovers.” Annual members, like Rob, pay £36 per month, and lifetime members usually make a “significant investment.”

Rob has been extremely busy with filming The Twilight Saga, Cosmopolis, and the rest of his movies, so it’s no surprise he hasn’t had much time to spend at the Library lately. But he told TimeOutLondon that it used to be one of his favorite hangouts. “The London Library in St James’s Square. I loved it there. There’s nothing like it anywhere in the world. I used to go there and try to write. But it was also such a labyrinth. You could go around there for hours and not see anyone. You could find Russian translations of Greek books that were hundreds of years old or you could be there for six hours and then suddenly bump into someone round a corridor – you could almost stay there overnight and nobody would notice.”

Now that Kristen Stewart is in London, Rob could visit her and take her for a tour!

Robert Pattinson was named on Forbes: ‘Hollywood’s Highest Earning Actors’ list. Congratulation!

Robert Pattinson – $20 million
The Twilight star branched out recently with Water for Elephants, which costarred Reese Witherspoon. The film did OK but its box office was a drop in the bucket compared to the Twilight films. With two movies left, expect Pattinson to keep earning big for the next two years.

“Breaking Dawn” Hacker Identified, Facing Legal Action

After some images from the upcoming Twilight Saga’s “Breaking Dawn” were stolen earlier this year by a hacker, Summit Entertainment has just released the following statement.

“In an action that further communicates that those who steal images, video and other intellectual property will be identified and prosecuted globally, Summit Entertainment communicated today that it has identified the principal hacker who earlier this year stole unreleased materials from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN which were then distributed on the internet.”

“Civil actions in the United States and Argentina name Daiana Santia, along with others, as being involved in stealing photographs, unfinished images and video from both parts of the yet to be released THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN which first appeared on the internet of March 31 of this year. Criminal action in Argentina has also been filed.”

The statement continues, “The investigation, which utilized the services of Kroll Inc. and the law firm of Keats McFarland & Wilson LLP, spanned four continents (North America, South America, Europe and Australia) and has led to the town of Posadas in northern Argentina. It is believed that others may also be involved in the crime and thus the investigation is on-going.”

“While we very much appreciate the legions of committed fans of the franchise and encourage them to create community online, we cannot ignore that property was stolen,” said David C. Friedman, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Summit Entertainment. “It is not fair to the majority of fans that want to see the final chapter of the TWILIGHT SAGA film franchise fully realized by the filmmaker and dedicated cast and crew to have these images out and available on the Internet.”

Robert Pattinson Thinks There’ll be More ‘Breaking Dawn’ Films
Posted on Aug 01, 2011 by Grace

Recently, Robert Pattinson imparted a bit of information to Twihards everywhere that will not only warm the cockles of their hearts but also give them hope for what must seem to them like a bleak future. In an interview with The Hot Hits, the fan-friendly heart-throb shared his belief that there will be more Breaking Dawn films in his future. That the Twilight Saga will continue. But how?

Alas, Robert Pattinson doesn’t seem to know. Or if he knows, he’s playing games and refusing to tell. Which is entirely possible considering R-Pattz’s penchant for fibbing—er—creativity in dealing with the press.Whatever the truth may be, Rob stated in an interview at Comi-Con that he thinks he’s somehow destined to play the part of Edward Cullen again someday.

“I still feel like somehow, someway I’m going to have to shoot and put in the contacts and the makeup on again for some reason,” R-Pattz said. “But I don’t know when.”

That would indeed be wonderful, for everyone concerned, since Twilight Breaking Dawn 2 is the most eagerly awaited film of the year.Hopefully, the powers that control the universe were listening to Rob and his “feeling” will somehow come true.Stranger things have happened.

In the meantime, you can watch Robert Pattinson’s The Hot Hits interview below, and decide for yourself if he was expressing a serious opinion or if he was just tired and rambling on inanely.
