New Robert Pattinson Paris Press Junket Interview Video
Because of Twilight, you became a huge movie star. Do you get use to the fame, to the screaming fans, and so on …? Rob: Yeah, you get used to it a bot. When I was younger, the first times it happened to me, I felt unsettled. But now, especially when it comes to the screaming fans who used to terrified me, it happens so often that, it’s part of my job. You know it’s not because of me. When I wake up like … I know it’s the character they fantasizes about. It’s a thing they’ve created in their own heads. You’re almost done with Twilight, how did you feet the last day on set? Rob: We shot Breaking Dawn for 10 months, when we finally finished, it was so cold and it was raining. We’ve been shooting that scene for weeks; so when we were done, I ran away, like, ‘Oh okay, it’s over *runs away*’ No crying? Rob: Yeah, no, I don’t think so. I think when Kristen and I were finally done, we had additional shooting to do after in the Carribeans. It was so nice that maybe I felt like crying on that one. After 3 movies, Bella and Edward, your characters, get married and finally have sex. Were you prepared for that scene? Rob: Umm I was definitely nervous about it. It just feels ridiculous, cause also we were doing it for a PG-13 movie so they had all these crazy notes. ‘You can’t thrust this hard. Stop thrusting so hard!’ What am I supposed to do then. ‘You can’t move! ‘So, yeah, it was kind of fun. It was just very strange. • Read full story » Robert Pattinson Interview With IMDB Video Interview

Source: MovieWeb Robert Pattinson disses ‘Twilight’ copycat A human girl in love with a vampire has become one of the most common concepts in pop culture. But Robert Pattinson dismisses vampire TV shows such as “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries” as “Twilight” copycats. “It’s like that Coke versus Pepsi thing, and how Coke just said ‘There’s a reason everyone compares themselves to us,’” he said, according to Web site Hollywood Life. “‘Twilight’ was the original and everybody’s trying to copy it. They’re all just trying to jump aboard the ‘Twilight’ train.” The third film in the “Twilight saga,” “Breaking Dawn Part 1″ opened last week and has already grossed more than $222 million. Meanwhile, stars Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who are a couple offscreen as well as on, spent some time together in London this week. The two were spotted at a Marcus Foster concert and were reported by witnesses to have their arms around each other, swaying to the music. Stewart starred in pal Foster’s music video, “I Was Broken,” earlier this year. She is currently in the UK filming her new movie, “Snow White and the Huntsman.” Source: NY Post Breaking Dawn’s birthing scene allegedly causing seizures The number one movie in America is allegedly giving some viewers seizures. “Breaking Dawn, Part 1,” the first part of the “Twilight Saga” finale, contains a graphic birthing scene involving star Kristen Stewart and the violent delivery of her child. ABC reports that the flashing of colors and bright lights have caused multiple viewers to suffer from photosensitive epilepsy, including a Salt Lake City man who was, “mumbling and he was blinking on and off with his eyes,” his wife told the news network. During the build-up to “Breaking Dawn,” Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and director Bill Condon promised that the birthing scene would be as graphic and dramatic as possible. “I think within the confines of a PG-13 rating, I think we’ve got something that’s pretty powerful,” Condon told Box Office Magazine, saying the scene was like one out of a horror film. “And in terms of the birth, it was, ‘Let’s do it from Bella’s point of view. Let’s see whatever she can see.’ Once you decide on an approach like that, it’s amazing how powerful you can be without being overly explicit.” This is not the first film to allegedly cause seizures; in 2009, James Cameron’s digital extravaganza, “Avatar,” also reportedly caused some viewers to break into convulsions. “Breaking Dawn, Part 1,” made $138 million domestically last weekend and is estimated to win the Thanksgiving weekend box office as well.
