Vanity Fair photographer Bruce Weber talks about Robert Pattinson.

“Of actor, minor deity, and V.F. cover subject Robert Pattinson, Weber says, “If I had a kid brother, I would want him to be just like Robert. He’s a stand-up gentleman with a firm handshake, and he writes good music too. I hope I bump into him again so we can go to a pub, have a few beers, and take some pictures.”

Anna Kendrick talks about Robert during her interview with Blackbook Magazine.

There’s a picture online of Robert Pattinson kissing you. Do people tease you about that?
I have seen fans comment on places that post them, but no one in person has ever said anything but nice things to me about being in Twilight. The fans, when you are removed from them and they’re on the internet, can seem a little scary and overwhelming. Even at the premiere, which was loud and massive and crazy, once you got up to the fans to start signing stuff, they were really warm and respectful.

Can you even begin to fathom what Rob is going through?
Yeah, I went Comic-Con and I have never seen anything like it. For whatever reason Rob and Twilight kind of flipped the switch in people’s heads, and all they can do is scream. It is really intense but I kind of wanted to see what it was like for myself. I kind of needed to know first-hand because I’d seen these videos from the first Comic-Con they did. I just figured it was a once in a lifetime kind of thing, so I had to see for myself. And it was every bit as intense and terrifying as I thought it was going to be.

Do you think New Moon will put Taylor up where Rob is in the fame department?
Yeah, I think he is due that. This is his movie, he was very much on the back burner for the first movie. I think Taylor is in for a fun ride with the mass hysteria he will be involved in very soon.

Do you think he’s ready for it?
He’s not an introverted Bambi.

Is that what Robert Pattinson is?
[laughs] No, no, Rob is someone who is a very talented musician. It’s funny, when I first went to the set I caught him outside having a smoke and my first words to him were ‘So… Are you alright, are you OK?’. [Laughs]
Because I was in the same boat as everyone else so all I’d seen was this massive amount of attention on him, which has only gotten bigger since.

• 12h27 : Arrival of the smiling stars Kristen is stunning with her white dress, fans are crazy, the atmosphere is incredible. It’s completely nuts out there with Rob, Kristen, Taylor and Chris Weitz. Pattinson is even embarrassed to trigger off all this attention.
• 12h46 : Kristen answers the 1st question. Rob is exhausted, he keeps rubbing his eyes ans once again he is amazed by the crowd who is in front of him… and who can’t help watching him ! Twilight, it’s not just a movie, it’s a phenomenon !
• 12h53 : Robert jokes and avoids half the questions giving them to Kristen ! The mix of shyness and humor is really cute but we’d love to have information !
• 12h59 : Robert Pattinson’s favorite vampire film ? “mine”, he says smiling. The audience is laughing.
• 13h01 : According to the actor ,New Moon has a different mood. Very different from the 1st movie.
• 13h07 : Kristen agrees. She thinks the 2nd movie can be seen if you haven’t sen Twilight.

1812 Recordings are excited to finally announce the release of Daniel Pemberton’s atmospheric soundtrack to the acclaimed BBC film The Haunted Airman. Starring Twilight’s Robert Pattinson and adapted from the cult Dennis Wheatly novel The Haunting Of Toby Jugg this psychological thriller tells the story of an injured WWII RAF pilot (Pattinson), who, whilst trapped in a sinister hospital, grows ever more sexually obsessed with his aunt (played by Rachael Stirling – Tipping The Velvet). The film was made by the BAFTA and EMMY award winning director Chris Durlacher (George Orwell – A Life In Pictures) and also co-stars Julian Sands (24, Ocean’s 13).

Daniel Pemberton’s score touches on the many different dark themes of the story – from the extreme atonal horror of ‘Spiders’ and ‘Final Confrontation’ to the unrequited romance of ‘Hidden Love’; from the melancholic ‘Loss Of Control’ to the eerie sound of ‘Theme’ and ‘Ending’ – and will quickly take listeners back to the sinister and confused world of the film’s protagonist, Toby Jugg, played by Pattinson. Recorded in London the fifteen track mini-album features a dark and unusual mix of treated pianos, child vocals, detuned violas, orchestral flourishes and custom sound design.

The huge momentum of the Twilight series has meant that The Haunted Airman has gained a whole new global audience with fans desperate to discover the few films that Pattinson made before he found worldwide fame as the star of the enormously popular vampire franchise.
