Talking about rumors of him dating co-star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson says they are really “ridiculous”. “It becomes a joke,” he told Entertainment Tonight on the set of the “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” on Thursday, April 23.

“There was some magazine the other day about me and Kristen, and when you look at it and realize it’s on the front of a magazine…You realize that people are actually reading that even though how ridiculous it is,” he added. “It’s really bizarre.”

“I don’t know much [about it],” she admitted. “I haven’t seen the film.”

Nevertheless, Watson said she was thrilled to see her hunky “Goblet of Fire” and “Order of the Phoenix” co-star graduate to become one of Hollywood’s most promising young leading men since, well, Daniel Radcliffe. “Obviously, I know Rob,” she explained. “I’m just gob-smacked by the level of excitement and hype around ‘Twilight.’ I’m very happy for Rob that it’s been so successful.”

And although RPattz likes to play up his shock and confusion over all those shrieking, Sharpie-waving fans, Emma insisted that she knew all along that he’d someday become like the Beatles all rolled into one. “Of course I did; he is incredibly handsome!” she grinned. “He is a very, very handsome man, so I’m not too surprised.”

Fans can’t get enough of the pale hottie star Robert Pattinson. Previous reports says the New Moon prod team are having some hard time after the sudden increase of fan stalks and sneakers in the set of the film in Vancouver, Canada.

Looking tired [i think so], Robert Pattinson and his co-star in the flick Ashley Greene tried to give the fans some “lovin”, lucky fan Maliciousmandy managed to make Rob’s car stopped for some seconds to give them some hi – and she posted the video in her YouTube account.

Being Robert Pattinson’s BFF does have its benefits. Just ask Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Sam Bradley, who got involved with Twilight thanks to his friendship with the actor. “I wrote a song on the soundtrack, co-wrote with Rob Pattison and its expanded my audience way beyond anything I could possibly imagine,” Sam told MuchNews.

According to Jessica Armbruster at City Pages Rob may be at the Minneapolis International Film Festival this Monday for the “How to Be” after-screening party.

The after-screening party is at 9 p.m. this Monday, April 20 in the Clubhouse Lounge of Brit’s Pub (1110 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis; 612.332.3908). Cast and crew are slated to be in attendance. Robert Pattinson may be in attendance as well. The press release I was sent followed his name with three exclamation points, so make of that what you will. There will also be live music from Fran King and Duncan Maitland as well.

Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong told Spinner.com that he wants Rob Pattinson to play the lead character Christian, from the band’s new album 21st Century “Breakdown.”

The girl that played in ‘Juno’ [Ellen Page] — I think she could be Gloria. The song ‘East Jesus Nowhere’ — I got the title from ‘Juno.’ There was that one part where the mother goes, “Why are you driving out in East Jesus Nowhere to go hang out with that couple.” And it was like, “Oh my god, I’ve heard of Bumf— Egypt, but East Jesus Nowhere? That’s amazing.”

And Christian, I’m gonna say maybe that kid in ‘Twilight’ [Robert Pattinson]. He’s a good actor. There’s still more to come with that kid.
