Archive for the ‘Headlines & Rumors’ Category« New “Breaking Dawn: Part 2″ Title Treatment | 5 New Scenes Of Robert Pattinson in “Bel Ami” »See R-Patz at Bel Ami World Premiere in Berlin ROBERT Pattinson’s raunchy drama Bel Ami will have its World Premiere in Berlin on Friday, February 17. Here’s your chance to be there. We’re sending one lucky reader and their guest to the German capital for the star-studded event where they’ll walk the red carpet with the film’s stars. The winners must be available to fly to Berlin next Friday. The film comes out in the UK on March 9, and stars R-Patz as a struggling outsider who rises to the top of Parisian high society by bedding with a string of wealthy women. Among the influential movers and shakers he manipulates are Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas. The film is based on Guy de Maupassant’s classic novel of the same name. As well as seeing the stars and attending the premiere, this amazing prize package includes return UK flights for two to Berlin and two Berlin WelcomeCards to give you free reign of the city’s transport system. You’ll spend three nights at the historical Ellington Hotel, a relaxed, elegant, four star design hotel in the heart of the city. To be in with a chance of winning, just answer one simple question. Competition closes at 10am on Tuesday, February 14. Click here to take part in the contest. Source: The Sun Vampire Diaries’ Joseph Morgan Talks About Robert Joseph is the latest addition to the series playing Klaus and spoke exclusively to omg! about how a franchise such as Twilight would affect the success of its male lead: “Provided he didn’t mess it all up, Robert was guaranteed a fan base thanks to Twilight,” Joseph told us. “His character is iconic and there’s a huge following of the books but there’s a tremendous amount of pressure that comes with that.” The gravitas of playing a heartthrob is something the 30-year-old actor can relate to as he explained how much passion fans have for the parts he and RPattz play. “People have their own very distinctive ideas of how a character should be portrayed especially when you’re playing a vampire.” • Read full story » Robert Pattinson heads from Twilight to darkness in Bel Ami Twilight made him a heartthrob … and Robert Pattison is ramping up his sexual adventures in his new film which is previewed at Glasgow Film Festival. He talks to Will Lawrence ‘There are lots of attractive women in the film,” says Robert Pattinson of his latest screen release, Bel Ami. “Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman and Kristen Scott Thomas…” He pauses before flashing a smile. “And I sleep with all of them!” After five years cocooned in a teenage Twilight world of angst, anger, vampires and werewolves (in which sleeping with people is a complicated process), the 25-year-old Englishman clearly enjoyed this romp through 19th-century Paris. Perhaps the best known of the six novels by French short story writer Guy de Maupassant, Bel Ami is certainly his most subversive, savage and ironic piece, charting the tale of Georges Duroy, a young man who travels through 1890s’ Paris, from cockroach-plagued garrets to magnificent salons, employing his wits and beauty as he bids to rise from poverty to fame. • Read full story » Stephenie Meyer talks about the birth scene – “Robert really nailed it.” It was really powerful! The wait is almost over! In just over a week, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ can be yours to own on Blu-ray and DVD, meaning you can hit repeat on all those awkward wedding toasts over and over again. (Or, y’know, one of the steamy sex scenes. If that’s your thing.) In anticipation of the February 11 release, we’ve nabbed an EXCLUSIVE DVD extra in which “Twilight” scribe (and “Breaking Dawn” producer) Stephenie Meyer recalls filming the climactic birth scene. Watch the behind-the-scenes clip of Edward (Robert Pattinson) trying to revive Bella (Kristen Stewart) as Stephenie explains: “He was really able to touch the human emotions of that scene. Rob really nailed it,” Stephenie recalled. ”It was really powerful. I teared up, several people near me did. It was just a lump in your throat—that moment of thinking you’ve lost everything and not being able to accept it. It was really emotional.” Yet, as fraught as that life-or-death moment was, we can’t help but smile at the quick shot of director Bill Condon fist-pumping when Rob nailed it. Very sweet. Source: MTV Reese Witherspoon Talks About Robert Pattinson In addition to her successes as an actress and her respectable reputation, Reese Witherspoon is the envy of millions of Twilighters after working alongside superstar heartthrob Robert Pattinson in not one, but two films — not to mention the fact that she’s kissed him too. When MTV News caught up with Witherspoon recently as part of “MTV First: This Means War,” we asked her the first thing that comes to mind when she thinks of her “Water for Elephants” and “Vanity Fair” co-star. “I would say [he is] the hardest-working person I’ve ever worked with, honestly,” she said. ”[He's] professional, hard-working, so appreciative, more grateful than I’ve ever seen anyone for where he is in life.” Given the fact that Witherspoon has been in the business for decades and experienced every facet of being famous, we asked her to weigh in on the current fan frenzy that surrounds Pattinson wherever he goes and how it may or may not affect a person. “I’ve never experienced what he has — going to premieres and there’s just millions of people waiting for him to touch them,” she said. ”I think it must be strange, but I don’t even know how to process what he deals with and Kristen [Stewart] deals with. I don’t know.” The Oscar-winning actress said Pattinson handles his fame very well, despite the sometimes-chaotic circumstances. ”[He's]a really cool guy,” she said. Source: MTV Joe Anderson Talks About Robert Creepy Fan Encounter A natural musician — he starred in the Beatles-based “Across the Universe” — Anderson worked on three projects in one year — “The River,” “The Grey” and “Breaking Dawn.” And then? Then there’s “Breaking Dawn,” the last two parts of the “Twilight” saga. In the vampire drama, Anderson plays Alistair, a particularly complex vampire who intercedes for the Cullens. The actor read the books, saw the early films and “tried to absorb as much as I could” but knew he’d never be as savvy about the character as some of the popular books’ fans. No sweat. “It’s nice to play against the grain of the film,” Anderson says. “He can do what he wants because he is who he is.” The 29-year-old British-born actor, however, didn’t realize the devotion of “Twilight’s” fan base. “I hadn’t even arrived at the motel and already there was fan mail. They figured out where I was going to be — and I didn’t even know. But every one of those letters was so genuine and so sweet.” The creepy stuff? That was saved for other actors. “A woman was standing outside the Sutton Place in Vancouver with a pair of scissors. She had flown from England to cut some of Robert Pattinson’s hair for a doll.” “Breaking Dawn, Part II” (slated for release in the fall) came with such high financial stakes “tension was ripe,” Anderson says. “There’s not a lot of rehearsal. So before a scene with Kristen (Stewart) I had to gun up the character from the trailer to the stage. It’s the first time you see this guy come to life. But until you get the gear on, you’re not quite sure what he’s going to be.” Source: Siouxcity Journal Robert Pattinson’s ‘Cosmopolis’ Wins MTV Movie Brawl The final buzzer has sounded, the brawl for it all is over, and Robert Pattinson is the last man standing: “Cosmopolis” has won MTV Movie Brawl 2012. His indie drama made for one hell of a Cinderella story in the vote-driven tournament to pick the must-see movie of the year. Entering the bracket as a #4 seed (following an impressive showing in the play-in round), “Cosmopolis” appeared to be facing an unavoidable Elite Eight ouster. What were the chances Pattinson’s cerebral film about a young finance wiz taking a day-long limo ride though New York City would beat “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″? Apparently pretty good. Fans banded together, choosing to support RPattz’s post-vampire career rather than the franchise that made him a star. “Breaking Dawn” was sent packing. • Read full story » Robert Pattinson To Do Musical Duet With Renesmee In Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 Posted on Jan 23, 2012 by Angelic
Categories: 'Breaking Dawn: Part 2' • Headlines & Rumors | 0 comment Robert Pattinson to do musical duet with Renesmee in Twilight Breaking Dawn part 2. According to a new report from Hollywood Life, you Twi-Hards can expect to see mega star Robert Pattinson doing an adorable duet with little Renesmee Cullen in the upcoming Breaking Dawn part 2 flick. Cater Burwell, who was a composer on the set of the popular movie series, chatted with The Sag Harbor Express, and revealed that he generally doesn’t write anything until a film has actually been completed first, but he was forced to make an exception in Rob’s case because needed Rob and Mackenzie Foy aka Renesmee Cullen too play the piano onscreen. “I had to write this duet before they shot the film so they could actually learn the parts. Rob is a musician, so he prides himself on working out the fingering for these correctly.”
Rob’s also no stranger to doing music for a movie as he recorded two songs for the original Twilight soundtrack, called “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign,” which were written by his friends Marcus Foster and Bobby Long. Part 2 hits theaters on November 16th.

Holliday Grainger On Robert Pattinson Another star leading the way for British talent is Twilight star Robert Pattinson – someone Holliday knows pretty well. The talented twosome star in forthcoming flick Bel Ami, with Holliday playing Robert‘s love interest – it’s a tough job eh? The Jane Eyre actress had no nerves when it came to puckering up with Rob, as she knew him pre-Twilight days, when they both appeared in 2007 film The Bad Mother’s Handbook. Holliday said: ”I’ve worked with him pre-Twilight so I wasn’t massively scared having to go in there and snog him.” When asked if Rob had changed since becoming a global heartthrob, she laughed: ”No, not at all. He’s a lovely guy. Always has been.” Source: STV Robert Pattinson Gave The 411 On Why He Chopped All His Hair Off At People’s Choice Awards Robert Pattinson gave the 411 on why he chopped all his hair off at People’s Choice Awards. According to recent report from Hollywood Life,Twilight,Edward Cullen star Robert Pattinson shelled out some reasons as to why he buzzed off his hairlocks. As previously reported, Rob showed up at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards this wast Wednesday night with a major buzzcut, and looked like he was an army veteran or something. It turns out that Rob needed to start fresh with his hair because all that greasing up on the Cosmopolis movie set, really screwed it up . Their source said, “All the stuff he had to do for Cosmopolis really messed up his hair. It was all over the place and in different lengths. Then he had to cut it again for re-shoots, and while it sort of grew back for the Breaking Dawn premiere, it was a little off still.” So,yeah, they say, he’s just starting from scratch,so it can grow back normal. He’s not shooting for a new look or anything. We’re going to see the longer locks return unless he gets another high-paying,movie gig that requires him to chop it all off again,or something.
