Hey Twilight fans, Robert Pattinson had something to say about you today. At least he was speaking about ‘obsessive Twilight fans,’ which most of you are.

Pattinson appeared on ‘Good Day LA’ where he told an anecdote about fans he saw waiting every day while he was filming ‘Eclipse.’ Pattinson used to pass these women every day, but ignored them. One day while riding with cast-mate Jackson Rathbone, they both stopped and talked to the fans.

Robert Pattinson claims he immediately learned that the fans aren’t crazy at all. They’re just crazy about the Twilight series of novels and films and just can’t get enough of them.

“I started talking to them,” he said. “It’s so strange when you think you get cut off from everyone and you realize these people are only here because they love the books and the films.”

Q: Who else are you close to?
Taylor: I wouldn’t be able to pick one. If I were to start, I’d end up listing the whole cast. I do spend a lot of time with Kristen because all my scenes are involved with her, so Kristen and I are very close. I guess I’m close with Rob, too, ’cause we spend a lot of time together as well. But, the great thing about this series is that the whole entire cast is so close, and it would be a nightmare if we weren’t. It would be impossible to make this series because the characters are so tight. So, we’re really thankful that we all get along so well.

Q: Who would win in a fight between Jacob and Edward? And what about between you and Rob?
Taylor: Oh, man. I don’t know about between me and Rob. He actually does a lot of boxing, in his time off.(Kate: *faints) It might be a good match-up. We were actually discussing who would win in a fight between Jacob and Edward, while we were on set. There’s a scene outside Bella’s house where Edward grabs Jacob’s shoulder and Jacob doesn’t take that, so takes his arm and rips it off, and that moment Jacob would transform into a wolf.

I’ve added the full 7 minutes long interview of Robert Pattinson from Entertainment Tonight for the ‘New Moon’ Press Junkets. Thought the interview might makes Rob sounded a little soft, please bear with it.

When this writer first met Robert Pattinson, he was a relatively obscure British actor who’d received a tiny bit of notoriety from appearing in a “Harry Potter” flick. It was April, 2008 and as we talked on the set of this tiny flick titled “Twilight” during a night shoot in the middle of a small Oregon town, he considered a scenario where he might not continue acting. Perhaps he’d focus on the music side of career, perhaps not. Needless to say, what a difference a year and a half makes.

Arguably up there with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as one of the most popular celebrities in the world, it’s no understatement to say the “Twilight” franchise has completely changed Pattinson’s life forever. We spoke again during the “New Moon” press day on Saturday and while it wasn’t the 45 minutes I’d been granted when he was “up and coming” not that long ago, it was clear that Pattinson was still as polite, genial and honest as he was back then.

The 23-year-old joked about how he may just keep working as much as possible because the seclusion of shooting allows him a somewhat “normal life” and went in depth about the differences between working with his “Twilight,” “New Moon” and “Eclipse” directors. He also made some particularly intriguing comments about the last “Twilight” installment in particular.

It’s no shock we adore Kristen Stewart here at the AT. We had the pleasure of meeting her again yesterday at the New Moon junket and press conference in LA, and K.Stew truly didn’t disappoint, again.

First off, she looked totally hot rocking her slightly grown out Joan Jett hair pulled back a bit with a black blazer and one of her standard quirky tees underneath. While K battles a few haters out there we think the babe’s a breath of fresh air. Finally—not another cookie-cutter Hollywood bimbo. Her boy, Robert Pattinson, is kind of the guy equivalent of that, too.

After the press conference KS stopped real fast to chat with us on her way out, ‘cause we just had to know: would she work with Rob, or any of the cast, again after all these Twilight flicks are over?

Nikki: No! And it’s not just Rob — that’s the amazing thing. All the boys in this movie — the fans just go crazy for all of them. Sometimes Kristen and I just want to be like, “we’re so sorry we’re not the boys!”

J-14: If you had to come up with one word to describe each of the vampire guys in your movie fam, what would it be for…
J-14: Rob?
Nikki:: Hmm, yeah, Rob’s complicated!

J-14: Is there a story behind that?
Nikki: One that I shall not speak of!
