While Kelly Osbourne has shown an unusual sense of self-awareness today for someone who lives in Hollywood, it seems not all British emigrants have quite the same ability to take a step back and consider themselves. Some of them apparently seem to think they are being cast for their acting skills rather than their carefully aligned facial structure. Not talking about anyone in particula…ok, you got it out of us, we’re talking about Robert Pattinson.

Speaking to The Mirror, Pattinson explained how he thinks English people go out of their way to embarrass him, which was quite a shock to us, we’re telling you:

“The English are usually a little bit embarrassed about coming up to me,” he says. “When I was last there I was in an HMV store buying a movie, and there were Twilight posters all over the store and the two guys working in there just refused to look up. People are a lot more cynical. They want to take the mickey out of you. If they see you they tend to think, ‘How can I embarrass him?’”

Still, it hasn’t put him off enjoying life. He’s still doing all that stuff that we wish he wouldn’t keep doing. Acting, that’s the word we’re looking for:

“I’m pretty happy with things really. I’d like to write some of my own material and have a little more time to do things rather than just everything being a rush.

“I used to write all the time when I was younger, so as soon as I have some time off I’m going to try and do that – probably under a pseudonym, otherwise everyone will just tear me apart.

“I’d love to have more control over the jobs I do, and the older I get I hope my career will allow for that. But you can’t predict anything in this industry.”

Doesn’t he seem nice? Perhaps he can come and write for us here. We can promise him anonymity and the quality control his work so far seems to have been missing. Well, anonymity anyway.

Here are some new video interviews and arriving outside “The Today Show” on April 17, 2011. He will be promoting his new film, “Water For Elephants”.

According to reports,Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart plan to split up after Breaking Dawn leaves theaters.

A snitch close to the couple said that they will part once the second film hits theaters next year, their relationship is a goner.

A source said, “The truth is Robert and Kristen are very different people and want different things. They do not want to be tied down but at the same time they do not want to have to film or promote the last two Twilight movies with the subject of their private life high on the agenda.”

The spy added, “They plan to split quietly as the franchise comes to an end which will also please the producers.”

Ladies, check your calendar. So it will soon be visiting Paris to promote his new film, Water for Elephants , the beautiful Robert Pattinson should make a detour to visit 20 Heures on TF1.

April 28, the sex symbol of twilight and Reese Witherspoon and part of the team of Water for Elephants will be present in the French capital for the premiere of the film which will be held at the Grand Rex. Unless prevented at the last minute, Robert Pattinson should use his visit to Paris to answer questions from Laurence Ferrari that night. In 2009, when he was promoting the Twilight 2 , Robert Pattinson had already lit up the plateau JT TF1. Does it deliver the cover? Hopefully!

Also, Saturday, April 30, Robert Pattinson will be honored in 50 min Inside , broadcast by Nikos Aliagas and Sandrine Quétier and broadcast on TF1.
