I’ve updated a new video interview of Robert’s upcoming co-star, Nicola Peltz who will be starred with him in Unbound Captive next year.

Nicola Peltz must have a thing for vampires—and Robert Pattinson must be way into movies about olden times.

Up-and-comer Peltz stars in M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, The Last Airbender, with Twilight cutie Jackson Rathbone. But she’s also landed a lead role in the hushed-about western Unbound Captives, alongside Robert Pattinson.

So what can we learn from Nicola about the two Twi-guys? And what the heck is up with Captives, Rob’s movie that was announced more than a year ago?

“I loved working with Jackson, he’s like my brother,” said Peltz, praising her costar. “He’s so sweet and talented!”

No argument there, so let’s move onto Unbound Captives, shall we?

An interview with Nicola Peltz on People.com generated a lot of interest today when it was revealed the actress, who stars in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, not only worked with Twilight-er Jackson Rathbone on the film, but will also be co-starring with Robert Pattinson in the near future.

A quick look at IMDB left fans guessing, since it doesn’t list any of Pattinson’s known upcoming projects among the 15-year-old actress’ plans.

Well, Gossip Cop solved the mystery.

A source close to Peltz tells Gossip Cop she’s been cast in Unbound Captives.

We hear great things about the young actress, which should only make anticipation even higher for the Pattinson flick.

Until now, little has been known about the upcoming film “Unbound Captives,” except for the fact that Robert Pattinson was going to star in it. For Twilighters, that was all they needed to know. The ironic thing is, RPattz’s co-star, Oscar winner Rachel Weisz, has plenty of details to dish about the drama but knows virtually nothing about “Twilight.”

“Meeting him was vampiric. He sucked my blood,” laughed Weisz, remembering their introduction. “Wait, is he the vampire? He is the vampire, right?”

Yes he is, Rachel. And in “Unbound Captives,” Pattinson is eager to portray a teen living in the Western frontier who was kidnapped by Comanche warriors at a young age; Weisz is slated to play the mother on a mission to get her son back. Co-starring alongside Hugh Jackman, Pattinson told us recently that “Captives” offers him a character who “can’t really be more different from Edward,” the leading man of “Twilight.”

While out promoting The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Edward Cullen himself Robert Pattinson spoke about his future film plans that go beyond the popular vampire series. Former Twilght star Cam Gigandet gave up his fangs for a pair of stirrups with his next film and Pattinson plans on doing the same. Get ready to see your precious Edward go all Dances with Wolves in a Western!

Pattinson told inquiring minds about his upcoming feature entitled, Unbound Captives. It’s a film that’s completely different from anything else you’ve seen him in so take your visions of Cedric Diggory and Edward Cullen and chuck them out the window.

I’m playing a kid who’s kidnapped by Comanches when he was 4 years old and brought up by them. My mother spends her entire time trying to find me and my sister, and when she finds us we can’t remember who she is or remember anything about the Western culture. I speak Comanche the whole movie so that will be really different from Edward [laughs].

Ok, Pattinson may have gained a little respect from me for taking on another language for the movie. In the film he’ll star opposite Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman, so this will be a stark contrast to anything he’s ever done in Twilight. Therefore, we had to ask if he took on the role because it was so different from playing Mr. Cullen.

Amritraj right now is excited about his 100th production, Unbound Captives, which will be shot towards 2009-end and ready for release by early 2011. “It will be a big epic in the scale of Laurence of Arabia, and Stowe’s first effort at direction. John Toll of Braveheart and Last Samurai will be the cinematographer. It’s probably the biggest in scope and scale among all my films, and will have a budget of 80-90 million dollars,” he says. Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson will star in the period drama “Unbound Captives,” with Madeleine Stowe making her directorial debut from a script she wrote.

Gil Netter and Grant Hill will produce with Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park Entertainment. They are eyeing a year-end production start.

Though Stowe’s a newcomer behind the camera, getting the job and landing that cast is a payoff for her risky decision to turn down millions of dollars for the script in 1993. Under pseudonym O.C. Humphrey, Stowe teamed with her husband, actor Brian Benben, to write “Unbound Captives” as a star vehicle for herself.
